Hi, the knife was created between 1956 - 1962, it was during this time that the engineer spent his weekends creating knives and various DIYs. The knife was given to me by this man's son, it was 3 years ago, I had doubts about this knife when I first picked it up, it's a hole in the middle of the blade, strange geometry, and I said what I think, but the man told me it's quality steel and I'll be satisfied if I fix this knife, Adding that bearing housings and gears are made of this steel, and this blade will cut well and stay sharp for a long time, and I took it. I haven't decided yet whether this handle is suitable for such a blade or not, so I did not fill it with epoxy resin, but I really like how the blade cuts, can it replace wood with deer antler, or make a handle out of leather, or put a piece of black hose instead of wood?
