Wow! Incredible skills! His wire brushing skills are amazing! What a beautiful stain and finishing! Gibson would be on top again if they hired this professional Luthier-Artist.
Barkev shadian dude, i can tell that ur either can’t play guitar or just joking. But this guitar restoration is bull shit and its from Viet Nam btw....
This mans is like a preacher in a church while a protest is going on... it’s so funny to watch him be like, “have a nice day”. Next, he’s gonna go out and give them digital bottles of water 🤣
Please stop. Just..... Stop. ✋ You are ruining these guitars. And you're faking the damage to them on purpose. You didn't even get all the rust off the tuner plates. You put METAL strings on a classical guitar, then you spray painted the frets.😥😢😪
Restoration Metal Tools if your gonna “restore” a guitar at LEAST take some of these tips 1. DON’T USE A WIRE BRUSH 2. DON’T USE WATER ITS WOOD FOR GODS SAKE 3. DON’T USE HEAT TO DRY IT FASTER 4. DON’T SPRAY OVER THE FRETS YOU HAVE TAPE, USE IT 5. You don’t have to deconstruct the tuners, just take em off dude. 6. Maybe fix an actually broken guitar, not one you purposefully manhandled and “found”
Are you the same dude who filled a hole in an acoustic guitar with a mixture of superglue and Ramen noodles? I see you've improved your techinque... marginally.
It's a good restoration effort for an amateur. What you could do to improve this... - Tidy up the paint work. - Make sure ALL the rust is completely removed from the metal bits. - Remove the frets before you paint it. - Clean & polish the frets before putting them back in their slots. And that's just a start.
This a great improvement from the first time he did a guitar restoration. Although there is still more work to do, I admire the work he put into learning how to restore guitars. Keep it up
So the man scratches up the guitar that is made of bad wood. Scratches up the fret board which and then sprays over the frets making the guitar objectively worse than the way he found it
@@restorationmetaltools4555 STOP SAYING THANK YOU YOU ARE WRONG THIS IS GUITAR ABUSE I AM ACTUALLY MAD I'M GOING TO REPORT YOU FOR VIOLENT ACTS THOSE WHO DO REPLY HAVE A NICE DAY BECAUSE I WILL STRAIGHT UP OR WORK THAT AGAIN
Yikes..but when your very limited by virtually everything from economics and location you do what you can with what you have. Props bro. Enjoy and make great music and be happy.
No, those are excuses. Because a person who is going to restore a guitar (no matter how limited the economy is) takes the trouble to investigate a little, and to know that the frets of a guitar are not painted. Or that a grinder is not used to sand the wood.
But why bother to paint it? Surely a can of lacquer is of similar cost; and even if not no care was taken when masking for the... school-bus yellow paint job, or the fretboard. The only good thing I have to say is that the sawdust is a far more competent idea than the use of ramen noodles.
The guitar was originally a fine guitar as evidenced by the detail of its pegs and peg holder, the detailed painting around its hole, and the beautiful tone it had when you played it. I would much rather have seen you replace the missing wood bits with like wood glued in with some animal glue, and tried to clean it without sanding away its original finish. Then you would have preserved its looks as well as its tone. Judging by other comments, this is not your first restoration, although it was your first I’ve seen. I would say you’ve made a start on learning how to restore a guitar, but you need to learn how to preserve original finishes as much as possible because they add to both the looks and tone of the instrument. Thanks for sharing.
My like is because you re actually better than the previous time. And don't listen to the people comments, who eat chips on their sofa. Become better, ask them who know. Have a nice day.
Bonne restauration en soit, maintenant et même si je ne suis pas un professionnel de la musique, j'ai trouver que la restauration était limite bâclé bref sinon le son de la guitare est pas trop mal.
Kristopher Walsh no the op is stupid asf he literally sanded the finish off and spray painted the fret board. Literally some of the dumbest shit I’ve seen besides the dude who washed his and fixed it with ramen
You watched it? I had it saved to watch. Only got to 0:38 to see why there was a cherry head stock on a canoe paddle, then the dead brown and the green leaves and other dry detritus revealed it came from the Republican Kleptocracy Dimension, just left of the Toilet Zone.
All for the likes Look wat i found in my barn .an old chinese peace of crap gitar made of triplex of course brandless . Lets spent some time and make it brand new. Wow,it even sounds as new .😂
I like guitars that have a tailpiece. It makes them look more vintage. I really like the sound of this guitar, and you did a good job, regardless of what the other comments say.
Сама задумка реставрировать старую гитару хорошая , но вот исполнение мне не понравилось, как будто не гитару красили, а велосипец🚲 Я в детстве серебрянкой ито лучше покрасил старый велосипед)
Nobody understands these are being done as decoration pieces! There is a whole lot of people out there in the real world, outside of RU-vid trolls who love this type of stuff to hang on a wall! Props to this guy! He took a old guitar and gave it a new purpose! There's absolutely nothing wrong with that! 😃
Talented player, but he fucking ruined the guitar. They don’t accumulate damage like that. He destroyed it for the making of this video. Also the restoration is trash. Lol.
laminated plywood guitar spoiled rotten most people would not have time nor patience to fix it and would throw it away. Be good beginner guitar 1st few lessons
Super-authentic scratching on the back and debris inside. And stop with the “incidental-discovery-the-camera-just-happened-to-catch” bullsh*t, too. No one falls for that anymore, if ever.
Bueno, este es por lo menos un poquitito mejor que el otro, puso bien el clavijero 🤣!! Aun asi es una tortura lo que le hiciste a la pobre guitarra. Jamas puedes pintar el diapason. Pero bueh
