This is a console table that was damaged while moving from one residence to another. It was so badly weakened by woodworm and a poorly done previous repair that extra, extra care was needed and obviously not provided.
Some new tips and tricks are shown along with some that I have detailed before in previous videos.
Here's a link to Thomas Johnson Antique Furniture Repair whom I mentioned at the end.

Hi Zeke. I came for the woodworm, unfortunately. Never ever seen woodworm till a clock case I bought online from Goodwill showed up. Good heavens! Was actually thinking about throwing it out but your video has given me some hope! Nice job on that table! Thank you, Ab.

Oh yeah, the worm is common in Europe. Not much old stuff doesn't have some evidence. Fortunately it would be much easier to treat a clock. Not a grandfather, but most clocks will fit in an oven. I think 150º will do it. Pretty sure.

Your videos are great. You’re clearly very knowledgeable regards antique restoration. I’m amazed you haven’t more followers. I hope you make many more videos. All the best Rob

Thank you. My channel is less than a year old and I haven't produced quite enough material. It takes lots of videos and a year or two to catch on if it's going to happen. I'll keep on trucking'.

So, you ended up placing the frame more symmetrically with respect to the top. Assuming the top was square, that was the right choice IMHO. I don't think there was any sacrilege or violation of the antique code to make it more correct

I agree and that and that fact that the line up of the legs while standing was an important aspect. Thanks for the comment.
