Your first responsibility is to your customer, not your RU-vid audience. If you found yourself getting frustrated and videoing the process became stressful, you did exactly the right thing by turning off the camera and finishing the job. The result is beautiful and you should be proud of your work. Thanks for sharing with us.

Taking on the challenge of the damage was impressive. The end result was really good. The ways to the end can always be discussed, but that's the fun! Keep up the good work, both the jobs and the videos, and ignore (or block) the people who like to be negative. Good to see shop dog! I hope working with your parents is working out!

First-time commenter here from the States. Bravo, you are human! We all make mistakes. As a female, almost 76, I've made plenty. But, young lady, you picked yourself up and created a masterpiece! You are a talented woodworker! Please don't be so hard on yourself. If a troll wants to spew hate, let them. The vast majority of viewers admire your work. Love and hugs, young friend!❤😊

Oh Trena. That cabinet is astonishingly beautiful. It was a total wreck when you got it. You had bumps on the road but you got there! I think seeing that even the absolute professionals, which you are, run into problems encourages those of us that are really hard on ourselves too. I can't imagine how difficult it is to run into the criticism public people encounter. It is easy for us to say "don't let it get to you". Much easier said than done. At the end of the day, you know how much you care. You know how willing you are to extend yourself on behalf of the people lucky enough to bring their prized possessions for you to rescue. Those items mean a lot to the people who own them. You are making the world a better place and you own that! Nothing and no one can take that away from you.

The problem with so many DIY shows and RU-vid channels is that they only show when everything goes as planned. For home amateurs, nothing goes as planned. I think the key to a really good channel is for the host to always think for every step, "What if they can't do it?" then explain workarounds. The point is that the best channels show everything: the good, the bad, and the ugly because they will answer the millions of questions that never get answered. All the "what ifs". That's more important than all the "know-it-all" comments.

It's a constant learning curve, don't ever think " I know everything" nobody does. Every job is a new challenge and an opportunity to learn. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Honestly, it's helpful, sometimes, that it DIDN'T go as planned. As someone who is beginning their journey, to see someone as skilled as you (I've been watching you for a while) make wrong decisions or have something not work out as planned is encouraging. Not that it was fun watching you struggle but the fact that even if you make mistakes you can sometimes correct them. As a newbie, it's too easy to throw in the towel and give up on a piece. "Trust the process" as they say. If the process isn't working, "plot twist!" and continue on Thank you for showing us the good and the bad. It's more helpful than you know.

Excellent work! We all have challenges that test our abilities and our confidence in our experience and our hard earned expertise . It keeps us humble! That is what keeps us learning and moving forward. I am 70 years old and love the puzzles of what I know I am a “master” at. Enjoy the process (😮) and the success at then of the process. You do in fact know what you are doing - you are a Master!

In a time where everyone posts their oh so perfect work on social media, it's nice to be reminded that making beautiful things can be difficult and stressful. Thank you for this! Truly inspiring. Now tell her to get that dusty yucky TV off your beautiful finish!

I am so impressed with each step Tresa. This has to be one of the most difficult works you have done. I cannot do half of what you do. I watch every episode you do and I am amazed at your work. I wish you could show a split screen with the beginning and end. I have always said you have a great talent when it comes to colors. I wish I as half as good as you. Great job. And yes I watched completely to the end!🤩🤩🤩
