Also, this gets my vote in the challenge just because someone patching micrometre gaps with wood slivers just deserves that.

One of the best restorations I’ve ever seen. Especially impressive is your repair methods using wood, original when possible, instead of filler. Final result is awesome.

Thanks! I hated not to use that original slat but I am glad I was able to utilize it for other repairs.

Don't Worry, Your Worth the Wait. So Much to Comment on! Some of the Other Restorers had a Challenge a couple of weeks ago. Basically, Restore a piece Headed for the Burn Pile. Yours would have Fit in quite Nicely! I had to Give the Win to the Italian Guy. His looked the Most like a Corpse! They All did Great! Loved Your Video! I really Noticed Your sense of Humor and Natural Timing both Intentional and Unintentional (like, 'Grrr... Nails'). The Restoration was Amazing! You Needed that 40 minutes to Show Everything You had to do. It Flew by anyway. The Love for your work Shows in the Piece. Nice to see the Dog, the Cat and the Wife(?). Thank You!

This piece was supposed to be a part of that challenge but I got hung up on something else and couldn't finish this one in time to release it with everyone else. I love a good estate sale tool find but you are correct, they are not always in the best condition.

Better late than never, I always say! (Bcuz I’m always late. Fashionably late!) I’m glad you were part of this challenge- I was looking for you in this! I love your videos bcuz of your sense of humor and sense of frustration- I feel it! I make the same frustrated groans doing repairs and trying to help ladybugs, too. Magnificent restoration! You pulled off a miracle! 👏👍🤘🌟
