Finally we are back at a almost full chassis again.
All the floor panels are welded up and it looks like a complete chassis again.
Lots of sheetmetal work went on again to get these fitted and everything de rusted. Everytime i work on the project its seems to be looking wurse and wurse on the rust side. but the end is near i hope....

Remco, your videos are amazing! Keep up the good work. I love how you describe things in detail! It’s pretty incredible you literally do everything yourself! In fact it’s bloody amazing…. I think re new the quarter panel on the gsi 😬 and while your at it do the Rallye quarter at the same time 🤣🤣👊🏻🫶🏼

A perua rebaixada ficou bonita. É impressionante como gera oxidações por baixo das travessas que vc retirou para fazer a emenda dos assoalhos . Ai vocês também sofrem do mesmo problema e eu achava que este tipo de corrosão ocorria mais por aqui na América do Sul e EUA . O primer aplicado por cataforese de fabrica não dá conta de proteger a lata por muito tempo. A bandeja de assoalho que vc comprou do lado esquerdo parece que veio um pouco fora de medida e vc teve que ajustar. Como sempre seus videos são ótimos de assistir . Sentimos falta quando ficamos sem seus videos sempre técnico, profissional e divertido de assistir.

Obrigado, sim, é realmente um problema geral do Kadett, infelizmente mal feito e pintado. E as peças que ainda estão disponíveis não cabem. Acho que esse carro já esteve debaixo d'água pelo menos uma vez, o que é muito ruim em lugares especiais. Que bom que você gosta dos meus vídeos. Eles continuarão vindo!

Did kadetts get the same problem with original paint primer causing mirco blisters and the paint to fall off like some UK cars have? My 1990 metallic blue astra is covered in them but it's not rust.

No not that problem but the protective layer out of the factory and the closings/design of the chassis is bad so they rust alot even from the inside out.
