So i am trying something a little different in the way that i film in this video i hope you enjoy it. were finally getting somewhere with all this filming malarkey although i did manage to mess a couple of bits up.

This Air force 1 (bape camo) vinyl is one of the harder stencils to pull off
but hopefully this video will help you pull off the impossible. this stencil will make you crazy and mad but when finished looks absolutely amazing.

Get an airbrush everything changes with an airbrush thinner coats less cracking. Paint all your old shoes and try to restore them you’ll learn a lot from that aswell 👍👍👍

The cleanest bape I've seen to this day on RU-vid! Really big propz from a colleague customizer (I don't see other customizers as competitors/enemies of the state like some others). Is that stencil film you're using? I've only used vinyl but I've been thinking about stencil film since I saw it on the silhouette website. I'm going to subscribe to your channel as it deserve more and going to check out your other videos! Keep it going!

@@SneakersKicksCreps thanks for your response. I see I placed 2 messages, other one with an second question about the laces you use. I will remove that message as it is abundant. Do you think/feel that the Sneaker Science are the same quality as the Lace Lab laces? Sneaker Science is closer to me as Lace Lab is so I reckon the shipping cost will be less (I’m across the Chanel/North Sea). Which machine do you use for the Ora-mask and what setting for pressure and blade depth? I will order the Ora-mask as I think it’s easier for this as vinyl is. *If I search for Oramask/Ora-mask I get the Oramask 810 but it looks way different than yours. Oramask 810 is a grey pvc film and not transparent like yours. Could you give me the exact Oracal number please?*

The sneaker science laces are good I’ve not used lace labs laces so I can’t compare to be honest I usually order all my slices from AliExpress and test them all out myself. I’ve not used silhouette film the Oramask 810 is usually used by professional graphics artist on cars, cycling bikes and most work with hard flat surfaces. I like to use it because I can see through it, the only problem with it on shoes is it’s adhesion properties which aren’t as good as the black vinyl so you have to be extra vigilant when spraying the edges.as for the machines there all perfectly good you just have the use the adjustable blades so you can rotate it to the perfect blade length for vinyl, if it cuts to deep you get small bits weeding off whilst still cutting and to short it doesn’t cut. 👍👍👍

@@SneakersKicksCreps I did order a while back a lot of standard stencils already cut as they are so dirt cheap, like different textures or shapes. For those cents I'm not going do to be difficult and cut them al myself. Okay so oramask 810 is the one you used for the bape camo? I use the Silhouette Cameo 4 and for regular vinyl I don't use the preset as it's not good. For regular vinyl I use a autoblade at depth 2, speed 3-5 depends on the design and pressure usually around 15-20. Last one really depends on the vinyl brand. I'm going to buy the oramask 810 and the pre-cut Silhouette Stencil sheets with adhesive backing. It just looked so much easier with your material for these kind of designs as the regular vinyl doesn't work easy when you have to stick it back to the just sprayed area and go on with the next. Do you use similar settings for the stencil sheets/oramask 810 as I use for regular vinyl? I hate to fuck up the first few sheets as the silhouette stencil sheets are not cheap. I remember when I first tried to cut 250micron mylar with the cameo 4 and a 3mm Kraft blade. It took me a while and several cutting mats and I'm still not fond about it.

Yeah it won’t last at all. I don’t paint them usually it was just for the video.I still used an adhesion promoter and poly vinyl acetate mixed in the paint and in-between colour coats that just gives it a bit of flexibility. 👍👍

@@SneakersKicksCreps did you ever used createx adhesion promoter mixed in your paint? I've got pretty good results with this in combination with Raleigh's scratch sealer. Sure it will still not last forever but for your own shoes it's great as you can get a few wearings more before repaint and start all over. I also have to mention great color combinations and finish! I've used similar hue's of blue before but I only added neon orange for the stitchings. This also with in mind for blacklight as it gives the shoes just that little extra pops.
