In that case it would be completely destroyed and unsalvageable, this is fake, I restore/refurbish these for a living, if that truly was rotting in that pile and that condition like it was, it would not simple be a case of dump it in water and clean lol, most working components and PCB would have been completely corroded and wrecked, don’t take my word for it? get a PS2 slim open it all up, cover it in dirt dust and crap.. then just throw it in a muddy place for a while, come back to it and try doing this lol

la placa y el cooler no importan mucho PERO SI se desarman y limpian y secan bien no les pasara nada pero el wn no desarmo la fuente de poder asi que claramnete es falsisimo XD

Easier to wash them in the dishwasher, less effort involved. I wouldn't wash this particular board in a dishwasher though, too many bodge wires that could be ripped off. Certain precautions should be taken when washing some types of motherboards with LGA sockets, you'll want to leave the CPU in to avoid the pins being damaged.

As an amateur console repair guy to my own consoles I have cleaned motherboards with alcohol and a toothbrush. Never washed a motherboard with water though but then again this console is very dirty you would need to dry it immediately after washing it, as retaining water it could cause corrosion. After washing and repairing he would need to add dielectric grease on exposed wires. Everything he did here is possible but he needs to pay attention to all the caps and transistors to make sure they aren’t compromised which I saw he did. The old disc laser assembly is another problem as it is extremely delicate but replacements are sold online. So in other words everything done here is possible but you need know how and a few special tools to pull this off.

La razón por la que a él no le pasa nada con el agua es que no tiene ningún tipo de alimentación de por medio a la hora de limpiarlo, no es lo mismo si tú mojas por ejemplo tu celular porque si hay una alimentación de por medio en este caso la batería y crea corto ,ahora en el momento de darle corriente se debe secar bien la placa porque vuelve a entrar alimentación y puede crear corto si tiene humedad.Por último el agua no es conductora de la electricidad es por eso qué hay gente que utiliza agua destilada para refrigerar su pc lo que hace conductor al agua son las sales minerales que lo componen

La repara con magia.

Simple solo mete la placa en agua y listo es agua magica y la secadora magica y milagro que estava abierta y no le faltava nada
