Two months ago I posted a video with my newest find:
Playmobil set 3551, fishing boat Susanne.
Unfortunately, the set was badly damaged and several parts were missing.
It became a nice restoration project of which I can now show the result in this video.
And we also launch the boat in this video
Enjoy it.

Nice video. The 3551 is still one of Playmobil's best designs ever, imo. Very realistic, yet still fun to play with, with lots of nice, functioning details. Sadly, good ones are hard to find nowadays and are getting more and more expensive. Thanks to its good swimming abilities, there are also some RC guys that did some pretty great RC conversions of this boat.

You're right! Complete sets are difficult to find, especially if you also want the box and manual. I have now found the extra RC motor from Playmobil itself. I'll do a review on it soon! Thanks for your comment!

OMG I have that one red buoy. I got it to as an extra for a helicopter, which i got as an extra for a castle :D I try my best to find it for you.

I found the whole boat in great conditions for 40 Euro. Only missing the roof. The bottom was in great white what collectors like.

Personally, I don't really like re-releases! It's fun finding the original sets and pieces and putting them back together the way they used to be! Nothing can beat the original version for me!!Thanks for your comment!
