Restoration very rare geared motors in the world in 1945 simple 

As is normal with modern electric motors , they are sealed up pretty well unlike those from back in the 40's

@London Smith, I agree that this is most likely from 1945, I would guess more likely 1985. However this is a very good video :-) I would like to suggest a few future changes for Random Scrap. 1. restore the iron that has rusted, rather than just chipping it away. there are loads of videos showing how to do this. 2. rather than cleaning and then silver painting steel bolts, etc. polish them and then coat them with something. 3. on that shaft ring that provided the seal with a surface to ride on, please clean the surface up in a lathe or even a drill, again don't just clean and paint.

-watched to see if I could come up with my original reasoning for the remark - and I cannot. I apologize. I am almost never snarky, but something leaked out 0f me that day. I have found there were aluminum extrusions in WWII, so maybe it is a 1945 motor. Do you suppose for an aircraft application? The armature looks to be of superior quality, for example.

It is a gear motor so the output rpm is low

конечно, в 45м не было такой оплетки на проводах

в 1945-м они на деревьях жили, и на великах ездили, откуда там такой мотор из 45го года, брехня, совершенно новый мотор, ему лет 10-15, пластмасса из которой сделана крыльчатка для охлаждения, изоляция красного цвета на проводах, компактный размер двигателя, подшипники свежие, роликовые, да это на..балово, 1945... ну-ну..

that's what I was thought that was no way they have cycloidal gearboxes in 1945.

Either a sumi or a shimpo. Either was that's a single phase, iec frame integral gearmotor. Didn't exist in 1940's that I'm aware of. I love these cycloidals though. Huge amount of torque and ratio in a little package. I'm personally a bigger fan of c'faced though.

@@clayparker1851 Yeah Cycloidals are great, you should check out the company Spinea from Slovak Republic, they dont use the pins in the middle of the cycloidal cam like all other manufacturers to transfer torque.
