Beautiful restoration. It really grabs the eye. You were right in thinking that there were different body styles available - there were van bodies, a tow truck, a pick up with a tilt, and the classic camper. Nice to have a 100% paint removal, as well. Nice one.

I saw these models on display at the VW PARTS DEPARTMENT when I was 10 years old. I can still see them, and it's an All Time Best Memory. Job well done mate. Think I have 8 or nine assorted Buses in my collection today. Thanks for posting this video 👍🎩👍

Really nice VW panel type 2 van, Rob looks great , you could've cut some windows in the side yourself , but that would mean making an interior for a camper ... but l'm sure you could've given it a go 😉👍

Wonderful work Rob - we have Many of these bands in Brazil where they are called Kombi as you mentioned. Sadly they are now out of production and ever more rare due to emissions rules
