Great job working with what you’ve got. I don’t have fancy tools but as hobbyist I, like you, love bringing these old watches back to life. There’s always some who just want to nit pick and criticise; leave them to it haha. Keep enjoying your watch repairing as it’s very entertaining and fun watching you. 😊

Good job! Sourcing a crown in better condition should not be very hard.. If you accept future video suggestions, I would love to see a chrono restoration, 3133 or even better 3017. These are my favorites in soviet watchmaking, but there are other nice movements to work with, from the little Zvezdas to the Slava2428, you have plenty to choose!

Hello, do you happen to sell any watches or do you just do these for demonstrations? Love the video!

There are some idiot Americans that really need some other country to attack them and feel what their capitalists do to the others all those years... Buttheads... With the means and tools you have you work really well, also it seems to me that older Soviet watches (60's and back) are of higher quality both craft and materials than later ones and also later ones use the same old movement designs but with worse quality. A beautiful simple watch, needed some case care btw. Well done, keep up cheers from Greece and stay safe! Jim.

I don’t see what you are talking about. He seems to be very careful. But you must be a horologist that deal with this all the time versus me who love to watch

@@jwall6006 I guess you didn’t see the video carefully…it happens also a Maestro like you. The same when use the steel screwdriver to take out the bridges…strange tou didn’t see

Not using the right size screwdriver for the screws! I just can't watch anymore if you pardon the pun. OMG can't put a balance in either , comedy of errors. The tools and the drill cleaning machine says it all!

Now is not an easy time in Ukraine, today there are more important things than expensive screwdrivers, when you don't know if you'll be alive tomorrow

Cheap tools are no good, your screwdriver was slipping on the screws and damaging them. Your tweezers are very cheap looking. Do yourself a favour and get some decent tools!
