A demonstration of the restored Deku Link acceleration in Majora's Mask 3D.
The bottom screen comes from the following video: • Was Majora's Mask 3D a... (left: original MM, right: original MM3D)
The main screen shows Deku Link in MM3D with the restored running acceleration value.
Note that the MM3D changed the locations of some lily pads, so the shortcut that is taken in MM isn't possible to do anymore, which is why I'm still slightly behind. (Not to mention I messed up the timing of one spin...)

This actually makes me feel bad, this game was rushed so when the remake came it made them feel that rights were wrongs...sad, really.

@@oniwolfin9589 I think they're for restored acceleration, they seem to be criticizing the remake and how it messed with certain things and made them worse like the Deku acceleration

@@gavenmiller yea, just couldn't tell at the time, I wonder if anyone will ever mod the 3ds version to bring back the stuff they took out or changed for the worse.

@@oniwolfin9589 well that's exactly what this restoration project is. Bringing back the good stuff they made worse along with adding in more quality of life features that have appeared in other games or that need to be added specifically to this one

It's mostly to enhance realism and to make the game more smooth, but I'm willing to bet that they oversaw that their change broke the gameplay.

The biggest nerf with deku I mean they made goron better with fastest attack bit deku ruining his water hop

funny thing is they actually buffed deku’s bubbles by making them fly farther and straighter, but apparently decided that this was worth nerfing because no fun allowed i guess. explains why they messed up the zora swimming in the remake after getting it right the first time

@@leoetlino thanks, I found it. I'm having trouble though, when I launch the game in Citra it crashes. I think it may be the version. You list which files to move but how do I know which version my game is please? Great work btw, and the HUD HD mod is absolutely spot on man. Thanks for putting all this effort in.
