These are older pipe wrenches, put still very usable, and they turned out great and one is a Dunlap brand made for Sears, they were cheap, so worth the time to clean them up!
Pipe wrenches like that always have a place on my toolbox. They’re simple and effective and will work when other wrenches or pliers won’t work or won’t work nearly as well, especially on anything round or rounded. I have a 6” wrench that I will even use on my garden hose fittings around the house. I haven’t used truck bed liner paint on any tools but it seems like a good choice. That stuff is pretty tough.
I am looking for a 6" now to but in my carry bag now, I like the truck bed liner stuff, I buy it at Wal Mart, they also sell it in red color, I am going to try that next, some people do not like it but I not not mind it!
For me about the only place Where evaporust makes sense is if the part has a lot of little corners or cracks that are hard or impossible to get into with a wire wheel.
Remove the rivet, soak in Evaporust and wire wheel after. Better than breathing all that dust (even when wearing a mask) Amazon has rivet kits . Nice job on both
I have not tried to remove the rivet yet, just to sure of myself on that yet, I will try on an old worthless one first, just to see how it goes, oh I have a great dust collector, but did not use because it sucks all my ac out!!!
