Description
=== 🎖️ About Channel 🏆 ===
My goal is to bring old, vintage American tools back to life. I hope to motivate, support and build a community of garage and restoration enthusiasts.
While this channel focuses on American-made tool restorations, the techniques can be used on any of your restoration projects. You will also see that my restorations are tools that I use around my shop. My passion developed over the years from being raised near the American automotive industry in Detroit, MI and Toledo, OH.
Thank you so much for your support in growing this channel to help more people restore their vintage tools!

We are totally with you on keeping everything as close to original as absolutely humanly possible. I have actually unsubscribed from someone when they threw the tool in rust remover and stripped it bare without even TRYING to save the labels. But I wasn't the only one upset. A funny story - several months ago were embarking on our RU-vid channel journey and trying to find a good name for our channel. Our first name choice was Restoration Nation. I always research thoroughly so of course we stumbled upon your channel. I watched a video or three and subscribed. I really really love how much care you take with these littlle pieces of history. My husband and I plan to do the same. Keep up the great work!! Excellent preservation of the labels. That was my favorite part.

I left one of the top restoration channels here on RU-vid because after they cleaned off the company stamp they engraved their own logo on the tool. The pieces being restored will always be bigger than the our brand.

@@OneNationRestorations same here. I quit watching a big name as well for the exact same reason! And you are absolutely correct. The preservation of history should be more important than putting your name on something that wasn't yours. Great minds!

Loving the videos... Only thing I would ask you to change would be showing the parts being used at the end of the video. Otherwise we are just watching something be cleaned.

This is great advice. Everything I restore is for my shop and I always intend on showing them in future projects, but that doesn't help this video. I'll be sure to show them in action from now on. Thank you for helping with the channel.

@@OneNationRestorations Keep up the good work! There is a huge market on RU-vid for restoration videos, as seen by the larger channels doing it. You may not have many subs now, but if you keep up this formula, I can see your channel growing pretty quickly. Especially considering none of the other "big name" restorations do voice-overs.

Darnit. I had a soul-cleansing massive garage junk throw-out, and just last week I threw one of these away after having it sit unused for 20 years. It was my late dad's and was hopelessly clogged as he hadn't cleaned it out the last time he used it. I really had no use for it as I despise overspray and I prefer using a roller for painting. It was noisy and messy, but, still...I'm kicking myself. 😉

I have one of these that came in the box, never used but it makes a loud buzzing noise when the trigger is pulled. Any ideas?
@OneNationRestorations
@OneNationRestorations 3 года назад
These paint sprayers are loud and the buzzing is normal. The start-up is jolting when you pull the trigger and the running buzz isn't much better. I had a Wagner 25 years ago and it was the same way out of the box, so I knew what to expect with this one. Here's a video of one being used so you feel better about yours. Go to the 5:30 mark for the sound. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WdGyYbfAAok.html
