Restoring a SALVAGE GSXR 750! (Complete Start to Finish) 

People won't clean their air filter or adjust the chain but they'll spend 12 hours routing a rats nest of led lights onto their bike.🤔🤔

RK this another fine piece of work. I shared your video with my wife. I bet that if the owner laid eyes on his former bike now. He’d offer you money to have his bike back in his possession. That’s a real shame that the state is inter fearing with aftermarket exhaust installation. So many other things take legal precedence than inspecting bike shops repairing unfit bikes operate safely. One of these days I wanna see you do a fairing restoration. Sanding them down and painting them. It’s a lot of work but can save some money.

Stupid law, they allow shops to sell them but workshops cannot install them. Anyway, just put a "somewhere in Mexico" transition and suddenly the bike has a different exhaust. 🤣🤣🤣

The owner of this bike clearly didnt care about it. But that said, have you ever considered that your obsessive-compulsive hatred for wiring inside a bike where the wires cant even be seen, stems from your own psyche rather than it being an actual problem in physical reality? It says more about you, than it says about the prior owners. Live and let live, let people like LED strips. Now granted, on THIS bike it was an insane spiders web of old dusty wiring. But i've seen you say the exact same thing about well cable managed neat tight setups too.. But apparently changing fairings is okay, but changing lights isnt. I suppose the sponsors decide what's acceptable divergence from vanilla styling. I'm just saying my dude, dont be so judgemental.

Funny ol'world, isn't it? Owning a GSX-R - especially a 750 - suggests a load of taste and some riding chops so it's not wasted. But this poor specimen with crap pipe and Christmas tree-ful of LEDs proves the owner's taste was in his mouth, and not accounting for slippery new tyres suggests not much in the way of riding know-how either. Looks mint now though, well done on rescuing it. Let's hope the new owner is more appreciative and deserving of such a weapon.

Yo what’s up Rob, dope video man, I have a 2019 GSXR750 just had to put a new faring kit on it as well same build, I’m just curious I noticed you didn’t put the plastic panels under the front end. It snaps under and across the ram air ducts, but I’m now wondering if I should just leave it out for better air flow

Whats up man. First let me start off by saying i absolutely love your channel and work. Fun, staright to the point with a simple explanation. Love it. Maybe u can give me a recommendation. I have. 2010 Kawasaki z1000 and the engine paint is chipping off in places like the clutch cover and stator cover. I want to paint them myself where it doesn't cost me much. What spray paint would u recommend? Engine seems to have a satin like black paint from the factory

They put a sticker on "Let them hate" but then they light their bike up like a Christmas tree and make them sound shit with a straight pipe. Of course ppl will hate such a Gixxer bro.. Isn't that a controversy?? BTW, the Auctmarts fairings look stunning.. Great colors scheme too. You could get for the bike an OEM exhaust and put it on the video. That wouldn't be illegal. They sell dirt cheap online as everybody gets rid of them.

Nice video but everything you did (on video at least) was cosmetic. What about an oil change, air filter inspection a coolant flush, brake oil replacement, maybe check the vacuums or TPS sensor. Is that aftermarket exhaust interfering with any of the bikes maps...

I. Agree just got a 750. Cobbled together they don't think about safety just looks tair it all down inc.the engine comp test. Put it all back together right.

this exhaust sounds awful, never been a fan of open exhaust, i prefer original or a taylor made is nice

I had similar damage, when I come out from parking lot left turn acceleration and went over turtle dividers, my rear tire jumped and slid and bike went sideways sliding for 10 ft

Good color schema and 100% the previous owner crash for new tires (from my point if view never put touring tires on sportbike). I agree with you about led strip all into trash.😡

I have to ask man, what is the quality and longevity of the Auctmarts fairings? I ordered a set and the paint quality was absolutely atrocious. It's bad to the point I have to send them to a local paint shop to have them repainted since I'm not going to deal with the company again if this is how their products usually look.

Looks great. Just repaint the exhaust. I souks have done carbon fiber wrap the tank though to bring it all together.

Great looking bike bro, That exhaust pipe has to come off with upgraded stuff . I’m not letting no liberal state or law tell me what to do

Brand new tryes are coated with a special "wax-like" substance, and after fitting new tyres the rider needs to take it easy with the leaning from side to side to allow the wax to wear off in small increments. Seem to me the rider put new tyres on but didn't wear this wax off and just tossed the bike into a corner and lost the front and the rear end together. :(

What paints do you use on certain parts of the bike? I.e engine, bodywork etc Also what brand?

how come you always dry clean the bikes? doesn't rubbing dirt on the farings and other pieces cause scratches?

Does anyone knows if you could use this fairing kit with the head light on a 2010 (older body style) bike ?

It's not illegal too have aftermarket exhausts,its illegal too delete the catalytic converter. I live in NY...and have (3) sportbikes,and at my inspections,last year I was told,if I had a full exhaust (headers, pipes,& exhaust) they couldn't pass me,but just having the slip-on exhaust, I was good too go.
