When I am out at the store or walking around and see a Veteran wearing his branch of military hat, I always go out of my way to tell them "thank them for your service." The smiles and just appreciation they feel in the world today needs to happen more often. I encourage you to do the same regardless of your world views. United States Of America is here because of our troops that do the work to give us the freedoms we have.
Great job and great gesture. Wife and I were out to eat recently and an older veteran and his wife were a few booths behind us. We paid for their meal. Wrote "Thank You for Your Service" on the ticket. Got up and left. A small sacrifice compared to what they've sacrificed.
My neighbor has an old one like trhat that's been ridden hard and put away wet its whole life. One day, as I was driving through the town just nort of ours, I saw another just like his, same color and all, being driven by an old fella who had obviously babied that truck since new. It looked like it had just been driven out of the showroom new the day before. The difference between that one and my neighbors was astounding.
Hi there! Love your videos . I’ve just watched about a dozen. You frequently ask for comments and suggestions - I’ve actually suggested these before but thought I’d post again with dime additional thoughts. 1. Stain a carpet - you talk about a lot - would love to see it - you recently flipped a car with a big bleach spot and I think it would have been a ton better with a dye on that big white spot 2. Replace a carpet 3. Leather repair kit 4. Heat gun for scratches and gauges on the hard plastic. 5. GET CREATIVE - ever thought of spray painting rims when chipped? How about patching carpet with a piece of carpet not seen (under a seat)? What about wrapping arm rests on consoles with pleather for ripped up areas …. Just some thought! Great job.
I will always thank veteran's for their service if I see them in public. It's sad to see how shocked they are to hear it. Thank you to all who served and to those who gave their lives to keep us safe and free! ❤❤ Also, I love your videos!
Great video, thank you for helping a Veteran out. Appreciate all those who served for our country. I love the extra attention you give to all detail jobs.
You truly are a magician and or a defibrillator! Bringing the dead back to life!👍👍 Ab-so-freaking-lutely beautiful! Indeed, thank you unknown owner for your service and thank you Mr Stauffer Detailer for your service also!
It's crazy how clean this OBS actually is. The old Chevy and GMC paint liked to oxidize and peel off. Very rarely do you ever find one in this kind of shape.
Wish this could happen for my dad. He's a Vietnam Vet. Sadly, his house burnt down in 2016 and his disability pay isn't enough to get him into another home. So currently he lives with me and his bills are so great that he can't afford to restore his truck that's been in the family since I was a kid. My brother was able to get him a new engine for it, but it's sat for so long that any rubber on the truck has broke down so badly that it all needs replaced.
Decides to be one of my favorite details ever done quite honestly what a beautiful truck they just don’t make them like that anymore. Especially hard to find one in that condition here in Ohio.❤❤❤
When you clay, you drag your finger tips over every inch of the cars paint. If it’s slippery and smooth it’s good, if you feel any bumps / sandpaper texture there is still dirt in the paint
This was a nice gesture that you did for this veteran. Also, this truck restoration is amazing. The paint looks flawless after a good clay job. Clean the interior was even pretty simple and straightforward. Awesome work!!! ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Hi mate, In one of your future videos could you show something about cleaning roof liners? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a detailer show it. I know that the corner pillars and then the roof liner is one of the first things I look at when looking at a car. And roof liners can be very delicate on older vehicles. Cigarette smoke stains for example would be difficult to remove on an older car I think? Cheers. Dan
I just took the side pieces off the two doors on my 2000 Blazer as well as the pin strip. There is still a glue residue or something, you can see it. What is the best thing to get this off? I used an eraser wheel to strip it all off but now I’m stuck with I guess it’s glue lines and every car company has charged me over $500 to come get it off. I’m trying to find someone that can give me the best advice in what to do? Buffing? A clay bar? 3m adhesive spray, I don’t know? Good job, the truck looks amazing.
Interesting! In Germany and I guess other countries too you are not allowed to wash your car like this on private property as the sewage and waste water should in no way get into the ground water. Is this not an issue in the US?!? 🤔
