MCSO’s HOPE team is helping to reduce impacts of homelessness in east Multnomah County through partnerships with community organizations, such as the Bybee Lakes Hope Center. Recently, our HOPE (Homeless Outreach & Programs Engagement) team celebrated a success. They met Rich, who was living in the Sandy River Delta near Troutdale. After building a rapport with Rich, they introduced him to the Hope Center, a non-profit organization that provides recovery and reentry resources to houseless men, women and children. Since that day, Rich has remained housed at the center and is now a full-time employee as he works towards getting back on his feet.
