Hello everyone and welcome back! In todays video, my 955 Porsche Cayenne Turbo will be restored going under a transformation. Be sure to give the video watch to see the transformation unfold! #transformation #porsche #cayenne
Good to see your enthusiasm for this well-survived old turbo ! Keep on doing a good job ! 955 model is also my favourite! Greetings from fighting Ukraine !
Thank you so much! The car is quite badass and gives me a giddy feeling when I drive it! Every time I put my foot down, I am always surprised and smiling from it’s power delivery and that brilliant V8 Twin Turbo soundtrack! 955 model for me is my favourite too! I hope you are doing well and things are starting to improve over in Ukraine 🇺🇦 🙌
Nice work Nathan Porsche looks rock solid and testament to the over engineering. Hope you’re not neglecting the Merc? I don’t think the rear number plate looks too wonky at all so don’t be too worried 😊
So with your black plastics. If you clean all the tyre dressing off and go over them with a heat gun that will bring all the colour back into the plastic properly this will only really work well on the textured plastics and probably wont work on the smooth platic in the grill. But be warned be careful not to melt the plastics but if you don't focus on one area for too long and keep going back and forth on a peice of trim it will be like new. A heat gun can also help remove crinkles in the leather interior again being careful and not focusing on the same area for too long and going over the leather with a damp cloth every 5 seconds whilst doing it. Maybe watch a few videos but that could transform the interior and exterior. Also as my ocd kicked in when you did the plastic trims and you missed abit hahaha. But you have done a nice job in putting the shine back on a cool car. Wheel referb next.
Cheers for the tip! I never knew a heat gun would bring back black plastics! Yeah it was kind of a bodged job that I thought I could experiment last minute, and it actually worked! I just rushed it a little bit 😆 Just a little too shiny for me, want more of a matte finish. Really does make the car look a lot younger, my wipers have gone all grey too, so I’ll treat them next. As for the wheels, I’ll probably leave them as I’m not intending to own the car much longer unfortunately!
