Just buy one and LIVE the dream. I got my 87 Carrera 25 years ago for under $20k and now it's worth about 80-100k. I still prefer the handling and drivability of my 944 turbo, but not the maintenance (timing belts) so much.. No, I'm not some rich guy that has a lot of money to buy toys. I found good deals on them and I'm a mechanic that can do all the maintenance and repairs myself. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to afford them, that is if I had to pay someone for repairs and maintenance.

Man lernt nie aus..😊 Jedenfalls finde ich Deine Videos genial und man sieht dass Du vom Fach bist und weißt was Du tust👍 Lehrreich und motivierend👍 Als Airliner und ehemaliger Uhrmacher fehlte mir mir das Schrauben und Unterhalten von schönen Dingen wie zb unsere Autos und bin froh dass ich mich nun ebenfalls diesem Hobby gewidmet habe. Macht Spaß und ist befriedigend gleichzeitig😊 Das Angebot mit Mallorca steht natürlich sobald Du Dir das ernsthaft überlegst und es die jetzige Situation zulässt. If it lost pressure it means that at some point brake fluid has escaped the system. Could be anywhere, but traces of the brake fluid will mark the spot where it happened.

Agreed. The weight of the car removes the final bit of play. I didn’t preload them really, but removed all play and then went back 1/16 turn.

@@GreasyFingers perfect, it’s a bit of a learnt art to slightly over tighten then back off, takes a couple of ‘rocks’ back and forth to settle the bearings and then get the free play right. Too tight and the roller bearings skid on the races, too loose and they can knock and cause hammering damage to the races. Hopefully you don’t mind the comments, they are as much for your viewers as you and don’t wish to teach you to suck eggs… you obviously have a lot of skill and time served 👍
