These strimmer spools/heads are the most complicated complex & labour consuming equipment ive ever seen, ive tried numerous different parts for the strimmer & they make loading & feeding in correctly an absolute challenge & a half. Not surprising when they are manufactured in parts of the globe where the instructions are miniscule that only a mouse with vision express glasses could read.... strewth!

Thanks for your video. I got a light weight MacAllister strimmer for my mother's small garden and the line didn't feed out so constantly had to stop and re-thread. I'm hoping your clear instructions will sort out my difficulties.

My strimmer has no direction arrows and no hole in the centre of the spool.

Replaced it more than ten times. Each time it lasts about 5 seconds of operation before the wire breaks. Concerned about my mental health. The entire lot goes in the bin.

I know how you feel! Most frustrating strimmer I have ever used. Just about manage to cut horizontally but trying to do edges with it....waste of time

Dont ever strim in bare legs and just sandles i know i ended up in hospital with a bad cut sharp stone in the grass went to the bone good Demo Cheers.

😅 Lovely instructions but noticed quite a lot of line wasted by clipping of and disposing at the end? Couldn't it be better if you just rewound the spool (counter clockwise) till preferred line length achieved thereby saving more line and money? Just a thought friends

How long should the string protrude out the trimmer?

Depends on the strimmer but generally around 6 to 8 cm. Don't worry if it's a little too long, it will snap off anyway.

Hi my new line won't fit into the holes too keep it in. Even trimmed it and burnt it to make it smaller but won't go in there. What am I doing wrong thanks xx

Looks as though you have the wrong size line. You'd need to get the same size as the original line.

@@UTILITARIANTVUK Hi. Followed instructions on my Qualcast dimmer but it keeps breaking after approx 10-15s. My Strimmer lead is thin with wore through the middle but its very old. Could this be the cause? Frustrated. Also, no booklet.

Music is too intense. Every time I watch I start to move my body to the funky beat. Then I forget to replace the line in my strimmer and my wife shouts at me. She can’t handle the funky beat. Maybe that’s why she’s sleeping with my brother

Try muting the volume. It may not stop your wife sleeping with your brother but it should stop your body moving to the funky beat!

I had someone recently who seemed quite irate about that misspelling. I've decided not to change it to get more comments on the fact that it's incorrect! 😃
