@@I_JPToxic_I The problem is that most fakes are not created identical on purpose due to lawsuits. Identical fakes get thru all the time though and alot of the time the original seller can get thru a lawsuit if there is something visibly off.
Fr. And the amount of people on here who are so concerned whether or not their shoes are legit means that A) fakes are as good or better than retail and B) you shouldn’t be paying StockX extra money to verify your shoes
Not really, but if your talking about your first pairs… your right even when you search up real shoes vs fake shoes and you don’t know if you got the fake ones or the real ones 😂😂
The problem isn’t that their fakes it’s the price. If u wanna rep a shoe go crazy. But paying the price or the real shoe but getting a fake is the problem
Ya know what's worse than fake shoes? Real ones that people think are fake. Imagine an employee not feeling good ad forgetting to put a few stickers on a couple hundred boxes💀💀💀💀
Idk why people think paying crazy money for the real ones is worth it as if they were hand made in the US and not just mass produced in some sweatshop. At least the rep companies don't pretend to be legit and high quality lol
@@dripski- Genuinely curious and not trying to start an argument or anything - what's actually wrong with fake shoes? Like what makes them "worse" than the real ones if they're so hard to distinguish between them sometimes?
“I care whether or not a shoe is fake, even though it makes literally no difference from the real one except being able to just say I have an expensive shoe. 🗿”
if i pay for a real pair i want a real pair. if you paid for a gold ring and found out it was only gold plated and the jewlers response is "it looks the same" would you not be pissed?
@@Hi-tz7nr Depends; If I pay full price while expecting a high quality product, then _maybe._ If it’s the exact same form and function as the real product, with an infinitesimally minute detail missing, then is there a reason to care?
They are kinda shit. You can tell there’s people who don’t do their job right there like they don’t have to or something, regardless that’s a BIG company and if they “guarantee 100% authentic merchandise” and supposed to have the “best legit checking crew” but how many reps a year slip by? Kinda sketchy don’t get me wrong, I’ve spent ALOT of money on stock x, and only 2 pairs have came to me under suspicion, and when they get caught they leave you high and dry with your rep, back when I started collecting shoes , I wouldn’t have NEARLY trusted eBay more than stock x, 🤦🏾♂️
They sent me fake Dunks, I told them that they’d been authenticated, but weren’t real w/pictures & proof. They apologized, but then told me to resell them on the website… I was like wait list & resell the fake, already authenticated shoes so someone else gets them & hopefully doesn’t notice?? wtf? They never replied.
I will disagree since I received a defective pair of yeezys the other day Authenticated by ebay... imagine trying to win that case.. no way. Thanks to the Authenticators buyers get screwed.
Bought 2 pairs of Lost and Found Chicago 1's. One in StockX and the other on GOAT. The StockX were either fake, or a bad batch pair. Sold it back to them a few months later at a profit. They could not argue the authenticity as it still had their tag and the receipt inside the box. GOAT can be hella expensive, but I trust them more. Never had a problem.
StockX and GOAT do a good job👍… only issue I had was once or twice the boxes had some tears/damage, but they would offer credit if you contacted them, plus they’re the reselling platform so they’ll accept what passes through them
@@dripski- Nobody is paying retail for reps bro. Trust me. The best rep batches are at the minimum half the price of retail and they're THE SAME SHOES.
Bro this is crazy. Couple months ago I ordered a pair of mochas of stockx and the shipment went normally until the “shoes” got to my house. So we opened up the box and there were two patterned dresses instead of my shoes 😂. So I sent them back and then they sent me the dresses back AGAIN saying there was no problem with the order. And this time there was a piece of paper on top of the dresses saying “Jordan 1 Mocha Retro” and I was pissed. So I eventually ordered a pair off flight club and I have them now and I was able to cancel the credit card payment but stockx is trash lol
Did they suspend your account for the chargeback? GOAT won't let me buy or sell anymore, and I'm assuming it's because I got fucked over on a pair of almost $400 SB Dunks years back and got my money back bevause I had more than enough proof and their CS was trash. Hell, I even tried copping some Yellow Toe 1s from Flight Club a few weeks ago and my Order was cancelled twice... Come to find out they're under the same umbrella as GOAT now... So they must have me blocked without actually suspending my account 🙄 Ended up getting a pair on Stock-X simply because the US Release Date push back on one of my most awaited Sneakers of this year is bullshit, and I plan on grabbing another pair for Retail next month anyways... Really glad the pair I copped ended up being legit, but still hate buying anything from Stock-X... Simply because of how many issues people have that they never get resolved at all. Stock-X CS is TERRIBLE unless you're somebody on Social Media and get their attention... Fakes, things being returned even though they just came in from Supreme/Palace/Kith etc and the Authenticator left fucking dirty fingerprints on a white tee that was IN THE SEALED BAG when it was shipped... Like wtf... So they have it rejected AND get charged the fee 🙄 RU-vidr Harrison Nevel just made a video about Stock-X/his Account being suspended over a
@@xtwistie9800 I disputed the charge with my Bank (as I said I had more than enough evidence to back my case up) I've been buying and selling online since 98 on eBay, so I know how to keep my records for each purchase/sale.
@@xtwistie9800 You're just one person. Every single one of these platforms messes up, a lot. There's tons of proof all over the internet anywhere you look... The wrong items are sent A LOT unfortunately. Very good chance that did happen to them. It's never happened to you... Yet. But you wouldn't be saying that so confidently if you paid 3k for a pair of say UNC OW 1s and got a pair of basic white AF1s when you opened the box... With the receipt that says "Off-White Jordan 1" on top... Shit has happened to a lot of people. And there's proof... Like me, anybody who's smart actually records themselves receiving and opening a package that's supposed to have something expensive inside
The leather quality looks pretty good on yours? Bought mine directly through SNKRS so they're definitely legit, but whilst I love the colourway; I've always been disappointed by how plasticky my pair feels. Mine have the leather quality of a bad pair of lows, so it's probably even less straightforward to distinguish than you'd think.
@Kevin Hernandez FYI Stock-X doesn't even sell shoes. They middleman. But great fakes get through every single day kiddo. BTW, I highly recommend tightening the OPSEC before somebody destroys your/your family's life.
The thing is because I usually dress casually (tshirt and jeans/shorts) whenever I walk out with yeezys or jordans I have had multiple occasions where people think I’m wearing reps so now I just don’t care and buy reps :) sneaker heads are a stuck up bunch
Money talking😂😂 I was surprised when StockX refunded me for a size 14 buy of these. Same reason as urs. Till now, i thought the Chinese factories do not have moulds for size 14 upwards. Now I’m more careful
I bought a pair of dunks off DHgate and they’ve got the stocks tag. Tbh, it’s better than paying full price for the real thing, ima wear reps all day every day
nike should give a qr code printed in every shoe with an unique number and the nike app could be opened by an unique login id and password of buyer and there after he can scan the qr. thus we can solve the issue of being copied
What even crazier is people think stock X and Flight club are trust worthy vendors. They buy and sell more UAs than any other boutique out there. There are no such thing as professional authenticators unless they work for the brands the made the design of the shoe. This is one of the reason I’m no longer apart of the sneaker community
