The results are in running our new 11.75" x 0.81" rotors with AFCO F88/Wilwood Superlite caliper (7420 pad shape) on our 2200 lb Miata.
Overall we must have a cooling issue because the pad wear has been atrocious:
Wilwood BP-40 - 7hrs (Autobahn South)
Hawk DTC-50 - 7hrs (Autobahn South)
Hawk DTC-30 - 9hrs (Gingerman)
Next we will be upgrading our brake ducts and testing the Hawk ER1 and PFC11s to see performance and life.

I get roughly 6hours run time on Hawk 9012s Fronts, and 24hours on the rear (same compound). Endurance spec mk1 with brake ducts.

PFC 08's FTW. One of the winningest endurance pads in the world. Their 11 compound is incredible as well but has a slightly bit more bite and wear than the 08s' but for a light car, should be great for a single race.

TRM-BobK here. Use the highest level Hawk DTC70 or 80 if available in your pad shape. I use DTC70 and can get ~16 hours = 1 weekend on fronts, and ~40+ hours on the rear with stock BMW calipers and rotors.

That's good info! I appreciate it!

@@ruggedbadgerracing I raced with you at AutoBahn. Send me a PM with your brake ducting. By the looks of the pads, you are WAY outside (above) the temperature range. If the life is that short, and you have burn the pad backing plates white, you are not dissipating the heat (energy) fast enough.

Have you considered the Gloc-14? It's their endurance compound.

A couple people recommended that. I will take a look. Thanks!

That is a shame about the st43. I have the smaller willwood calipers that use the 12mm pads. I bought up everything I could get my hands on recently. They have been amazing and great wear on the nc. They wore a bit faster at sebeing last week which has me concerned going forward to the 24hr race next month. Luckily I finally got the fueling down to about 1 minute so I could do a pad change on one wheel during a fueling stop

On our NA ( Brick City Happy Hour Miata) my son has the front brake pad swap to 3 min a side including the jacking and wheel on/off. 14mm socket and a flathead. Stock calipers though. Since we added the brake ducting our pads lasted the entire race at Sebring but that first eseeion was wet so not as hard on them. Hope you guys get your car situated after the contact.

@DocGTO that is really quick considering the oem calipers. The brake Ducting helped with hub life, pad wear, and keeping the rotors in 1 piece. At sebring, maybe my Ducting wasn't pointed correctly

That is a quick change. I've been lucky to not need to hot swap pads yet.

@@ruggedbadgerracing My kid is like Rainman for cars. LOL. I was getting in the car on the driver swap thinking I had plenty of time the first time we did a swap at Daytona. Right side is up, I'm getting in and situated and then the right side drops down and they go running to the left side..... I was like Holy $hit, I need to hurry. LOL

Is Gingerman easier on pads compared to Autobahn? I haven't been to either track. For us the 50/30 setup last longer and give us better front to rear bias compared to the 30/30 setup we had in the beginning.

I am not sure, but I do know the back straight at autobahn south got the front brakes hotter than they were at Gingerman. The BP40s were definitely smelly.
