I just want to share with you something that is so important , and that is Gods Name, Gods name in hebrew is י ה ו ה / YHWH] and when it is translated in English it is Jehovah [Transliterated Yahweh] Gods name is used over 6900 times however has been removed in most bibles due to the tradition of the Israelites not wanting to violate the commandment in Exodus 20:7 which says "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; 2 interesting things to note here about this scripture. . . 1]most translations Render Jehovah's name as capital LORD to distinguish it as Gods name as opposed to [lowercase] lord which is used as a title for example when Sarah called Abraham my lord [gen 18:12], none the less : lord whether spelled "lord" or "LORD" is still a title like Mr, Dr, or SIR, senora etc So this really should read "Thou shalt not take the name of Jehovah thy God in vain;" 2] that scripture says to not use Gods name in vain:. . . if we look up the definition of vain it says :producing no result; useless./having no real value Well ironically by removing gods name over 6000 times from the bible in effect the modern world has made Gods name usesless/vain, This is especially true with you consider scriptures like : pr 18:10 The name of "the LORD" is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. I know you love your King James bible and there one of the very few bibles that still has Gods name in it in several places. . interesting enough although they kept the tradition of the Jews in not saying/writing Gods name they knew it was important enough to keep Gods name in these places in the king james bible: Exodus 6:3, Psalm 83:18, Isaiah 12:2, Isaiah 26:4 and three times in compound place names at Genesis 22:14, Exodus 17:15 and Judges 6:24. something else is that in 2015 group of translators restore Gods name to the King james .
