Man it's always the worst when products (especially expensive products) make your skin look worse than without any product at all. I considered getting that kosas tinted oil a long time ago and I'm so glad I never did.

I highly recommend the shade love in the rare beauty matte blush formula. I was worried it wouldn’t work for me, I’m super fair, but it’s the PERFECT autumnal shade!!

Every time I see a look someone has created with the ND Bronze palette, I fall in love with it and want to buy it. But I just know that if I were to get it, I won't use it. It has SOOO many coppery shades and I literally NEVER reach for any of the ones I already have. So it would just sit here and never get used. However, your look today is absolutely STUNNING, Julia! Eyes and base! Personally, I wasn't sure at first if I would like the color of your lip paired with your eyes but this is exactly why you're the Master MUA! Bc it looks phenomenal 🤩 Great video, I hope you have a GREAT weekend!

I received one in my Boxycharm and I love the formula, but have the same issue-the deep Orange and coppery shades look awful on my very “Spring” skin. I feel wasteful keeping it for 1 shade, so I’ll declutter it-makes me sad, as I think the formula is awesome. I recently narrowed down my lipsticks from about 300 to 10! Had to have a “come to Jesus” with myself about shades that “do” something for me and some that age me or make me look like death. Fall shades really don’t do much for me, sadly.

@@lilg3514 aww... I'm so sry it didn't work for you! I totally agree, Natasha D's formula is a great one. I absolutely LOVE my Glam palette by her. If you have any other palettes from her brand that are the same size as the Bronze palette, you could always sub out the shade you like for one from another palette that you won't miss and then declutter it that way. Then you'll be able to keep the shade you actually like 😁 Natasha was truly thinking of her customers when she made her pans magnetic! And I relate so hard about the lip colors! There's really only 2 or 3 colors that I like on my complexion (and all the slight variants of said colors 😂) I can only wear brown-leaning mauve, brown-leaning nude and red/brown-leaning burgundy or maroon.. no purple. Oh and a crisp blue-based red, so 4 colors. Anything too pink, orange, purple or yellowish looks horrendous. I get so jealous of people like Julia who can seemingly pull off every color!

This was fun to see because it encourages me to do the same to keep my makeup as “minimal” as possible. Also, I love the touch of auburn in your hair... But I’m biased. P.S. I also bought Abyssinian and the bronze palette so I can fully recreate this and that’s so rare for me. Also, I think the formula is identical to Mac paint pots but it dries out so much faster.

Hey Julia, try adding the inglot reviving( I don't know the name of it) oil/liquid. It helps pot/gel liners a lot to add back the moisture. I feel like it might help your Tom Ford pot eyeshadow.

I haven't used the kosas face oil in awhile, but I think the issue with that is that it can be really easy to overapply. I think they recommend 3 dots for your whole face!! I've had the best luck when starting with a small amount and then building it up slowly on top of a very hydrating base (bobbi brown face base works for me!!).

You can use the Inglot duraline to restore the moisture to the Tom Ford pot shadow. I had that same issue with the Tom Ford pot shadow and duraline worked great on it. Give it a try!

I think the CT Bronzer might be a little orange, but I think that's not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes you need a bronzer that leans a little more terracotta/orangey for certain warm looks. I think it works perfect for the eyes and lip look you have going here. I don't have the ND Bronze palette but it reminded me to breakout the ILIA warm palette. It's perfect for fall!

I really like the bronzer! And the Ilia mascara was one of my favorites, but I realized, too late I might add, that it wasn't vegan, so I tried it's dupe, Sugar Rush Lash Smoothie and I'm able to get a very similar affect. I love the fall look! It's perfect for this time of year! I would like to know what your favorite tinted moisturizers are. I'm having a hard time finding one that doesn't enhance my texture. One of my friends, her husband actually uses his truck to haul things and he told me that these weird and stupid modifications make the truck unable to do what it's, like, sole purpose is. If you press your Tom Ford cream product down into the pot to fill in the separation from the sides, it helps to keep the moisture in the product as a whole. Mac Paint pots are the same. I’ve had mine for more than several years, lid kept tight and very hygienic practices while using them and they are all still performing well, and composition has not changed.

The Kosas face oil isn’t a foundation and it’s meant to be applied with your hands just over good skincare, not necessarily with primer. I personally put it on right after I do my skincare. That was all of my dry spots are recently hydrated. I just go into applying the Kosas face oil with the expectations of it being a tinted face oil and not a foundation. I really love it. But to be fair, I have a dryer skin type. Love you, Julia!

I love this makeup look! I have been going back and forth since the bronze palette came out on whether or not to get it and I agree with you that it is perfect for fall. But I also have been loving green tones lately. So I bought the zendo palette thinking it had a mix of both and then it broke after about 2 months 🤬 lol but I don't think that the bronzer was orange on you at all. Maybe it looks different on camera? To me it had more of a pink under tone and I think that looks a lot more natural 💖😊

personally i found the Ilia tinted lip oil things looked beautiful at first but throughout the day became incredibly drying. It felt like I had a film over my lips but underneath they were very dry. It also didn't layer that well on me when I reapplied, it got kind of globby in places.

Oh my gosh you just reminded me I need to pull my bronze palette out and start using it right now! I think I have only used it like 3 times since I bought it. I just ordered the Glam and Retro palettes earlier as it is my birthday this month and I am treating myself! Those two palettes seem like they will be more my taste than the bronze one but maybe it was just I haven't been wearing very heavy eye looks this summer. I love that mascara on you! As well as the bronzer which I don't think is too orange looking at all.

Honestly that Kosas tinted oil did the same thing on my skin. I got a sample once and anytime I used it it it just sat on the top of my skin and made everything else I put on top look terrible 😞

I’ll be honest, strobe cream is the only MAC product I’ve ever bought (from a Desi tutorial ages ago) and I still love it. Might finally venture into more of their stuff lol
