Awesome video the cheapest store offered me 150 to fix mine I think I will do it myself just label all the screws n places they go lol thank you Joey 😎👍😊
I took initially took the back cover off to clean the water damage and it worked but it wasn’t holding a change so I figured we had to really take the whole board out and thoroughly clean the corrosion on the back side….. hopefully it holds a charge this time after cleaning all the corrosion
@@ItsBinhRepaired Im thinking so It turned on and it was running but still wasn’t holding a charge so it shut off.. battery is $45 on Amazon prime would you recommend that?
How do I know if I need to replace my board? My current issue is that my macbook pro does not charge or turn on even after I put in a new battery. Is this a sign of a bad logic board?
i have issue with headphone jack it detect when you plug headphone but no sound coming. i checked everything in the settings for proper selection and mute butting etc. all set correctly. any idea? Macbook pro Early 2015. thanks :)
@@ItsBinhRepaired thanks for the reply, what do u think the best fix for this? Have it replaced with a new port? EDIT: it was the OS i did a clean install and everything came back to normal
my macbook pro a1502 has been really slow after i replaced my battery, i dont think its the battery problem since even i disconnected the battery from logic board it is still slow, now still waiting for my new logic board i bought from aliexpress for $230 and the spec is 2.9ghz and 16gb ram, hopefully the performance back to normal because i can’t afford to buy new macbook 😭😭. do u think my old logic board has a problem?
@@ItsBinhRepaired its fine before i change the battery, like it runs well. then i checked my old battery it was bloated thats why i decided to change the battery then i changed the battery and i start the computer suddenly it takes forever to boot up, and it running so slow like opening apps, and watching videos on youtube it was choppy and laggy
I have an 13 Early 2015 MBP It came with the 8gb ram and i5 Will I be able to replace the logic board with one of the same model that came with 16gb ram and i7? Thank you.
If I were to swap logic boards on my A1502, to one that works.. will my nvme drive still have it's data or will it reformat it and make me loose my files?
Certain components aren't removable. Use this link everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup/ to find your processor and ram amounts. In some cases you need the storage as well. You don't need the same specs, but if you want it to be the same performance, you'll want to check for that.
@@ItsBinhRepaired I have 2 of these sitting in front of me now.. one with a bad screen, the other with an sdd lock on it so I can't reinstall OS. I need to take out the logic board on one of them and clear off corrosion that is causing intermittent powering on issues... I am not looking forward to it lol
I will most likely, but I’ll still have 1 that has intermittent power on issues and no screen. Like I blew in the vent between case and screen and it improved power on consistency so I feel like a little scrubbing would solve the issue. I can’t certainly do what Northridgefix does.. refloat the corroded area. Etc
@@ItsBinhRepaired actually my first course of action was swapping the good drive on the broken screen laptop with the locked drive on the good screen one... I now have it working except for the power issue but that might be fixed because after blowing air through the vent it has started every time now, knock on wood
