Retinal Breaks | Horseshoe shaped Tears, Atrophic holes, operculated holes, Giant tears and Dialysis 

Breaks in the retina can be called as retinal tears or holes.
The main pathophysiology behind retinal breaks is degeneration, vitreoretinal traction and trauma.
The main types of retinal breaks are as follows:-
* Atrophic retinal hole
*Operculated retinal hole
*Horse Shoe shaped tear / Flap tear
*Giant retinal tears
*Giant retinal dialysis
