I don't think I could visit Money, Mississippi and the sites where everything went down without getting physically ill or breaking down in tears. What Emmitt Till went through has to be one of the most horrifying stories ever. He was so young. It's unbelievable to me that grown men would feel no remorse for what they did to a little boy. They're burning in hell right now and I hope the same for Carolyn Bryant when she kicks the bucket.

The black community in fear of their own lives couldn't take care of it with their own hands. Crooked, racist cops would have found a way to make it a mass burial of the vigilante, revenge seeking blacks. Enough station wagons, vans and small trucks would have been used to bury them in the swamp like the Civil rights workers who were murdered. On another sickening note, Ahmaud Arbery's killers were free men for months. Thankfully, William Bryan was a smart dumbass that filmed it, probably for the trophy element of it. All 3 of them would likely be free men, protected by that crooked D.A., Jackie Johnson, if there was no video.

Jury of their peers = fellow KKK members, keep in mind blacks were not allowed to vote and that is how they got all white juries. Schwerner, Goodman and Cheney were killed less than 10 years later in Mississippi for trying to get blacks the right to vote.

i agree, and this was one that we know of, for them to do that to a little kid, and not show any remorse, tells you they've done it many times before, and not only to kids, but grown men too, and women and little girls who they lusted after on the low. And they protected each others secretes to their graves. This is why i can never forgive whites, (and i know all white weren't like that, but i'd say 80% were)they killed so many of us, there are thousands apon thousands of bodies burried in unmarked graves, in the bottom of rivers that we may never know about, but they're there. And many of the killers have gone unpunished, some are still alive, living among us with their dark past, acting as if they are friends. I watched these stories and i get so angry, so full of rage, it's like i can feel their pain. But i have to watch, i have to know, to see how our ancesters/our people were mistreated, raped, beaten, and killed for no reason other than being black. And whites thought it was ok, the photo of Emmett's face is unreal, i know in my heart, had i have been his dad, uncle, or brother, i would have died not long after, cause i would have killed those two, and as many whites as i could have. I am so sad for black folks in those times, very sad.

How could you have so much hate in your heart to do this to a child? His mother had to see her beautiful boy like that, she had to live with that for the rest of her life, it was so brave of her to have that open casket. Her doing that brought attention to the case and everyone had to look at what racism does.
