RETRACTABLE ROLLER SKATES?! 

seeing jd having coordination that actually matches his age is oddly reassuring.

I tried to get a pair of these as a kid, and they came with wheels that didn’t even fit in the shoes. That was one of the many things in my childhood that pushed me towards completely giving up on life

you have to use your heel and and slam the back button on front of the shoe to open and close the skate!! sadly mine physically wore out very fast... the glue gave up...

So these seem incredibly dangerous. Zero ankle support.

you got to push each foot up to 90° from each other which puts them 45 degrees from normal so your foot positions that it looks like a v shape. it goes for blades to.

I had a pair of those when I was 8. I was begging for a pair of heeleys and my aunt got me these instead. Lol they were a different brand than these but still the same except the release button was on the side of the shoes and it had a removable panel to place over the wheels like heeleys

It's funny to hear a grown man say he's scared to skate in the shoes. LOL Honestly, if you can balance on a skateboard, you can rollerblade. It's easy. I had a pair of rollerblades when I was a kid in the 80s and it didn't take long to get the hang of them, and if you can rollerskate in regular skates, you can rock them shoes, bud. Those are small wheels compared to the skateboard, rollerskates and rollerblades wheels. I definitely wouldn't wear them on a skateboard. That's a face plant waiting to happen. Stay safe. Those shoes look fun. I want the ones that light up. Oh yeah.

Am I the only person that can inline skate but struggle with these types? I would love if they made inline versions of these

Glo, the trick is balancing on one foot at a time until you get used to it. Blades are easier, skates hold your ankles straight.

I had these type shoes when I was in middle school. Man that was the dark ages. Mine had these buttons at the inner side of the heel where you can tab both shoes together to activate the wheels. these are cringe af back in the days.
