Yeah, I think it’s a challenge to make a cover that fits such a large variety of trucks and be a perfect fit and install. Water finds a way, so 95% waterproof is acceptable IMO. Great points on the electrical install side: that will help me to be prepared.
Which bedliner is that? I bought this cover and my drop in bed liner doesn’t fit it. I was thinking of cutting it on the corners or maybe getting a mat
The bed liner was in before the bed cover and it did require some cutting of the bed liner. The next time I prefer to have a spray-in bed liner with the same bed cover. I hope this helps you out with the project and thank you very much for watching!
@robertbutler8004 I get comments saying I drive a pavement princes when I wash it and comments for getting it dirty off road LOL. Thanks much for watching!
@jrvillegas7667 we do get a small amount of water in really heavy rain but nothing too extreme. Just enough that any cargo should be okay with some water penetration or as an example, we will place clothes bags or sensitive items inside of a plastic bag just for an extra layer of protection if we know we will get into rain. Thank you very much for watching! downshifting76.myspreadshop.com/
Great review, getting ready to order mine today. Only exceptions are that my truck is an 8' bed and no power option is available for that! How did you like the clamp down holders for the bed rail? I have used similar with camper shell mounts and my current soft cover.
The clamps actually work well and they are adjustable to get the rails square so the cover will open and close smoothly. Good luck and thank you very much for watching!
