I like the fact the it’s a somewhat ambiguous, makes for some more interesting decision making on a case by case basis. Also means they’ve done a good job balancing the choice node!
I've tried both builds, and though i love that ES is more viable now, I still think that your over all best performance for Mythics will be Final Reckoning. Trash pulls are where you gain/lose more of your time. So the faster and more efficient you can be with that the better. That being said, with ES being better than it has been, I think by the end of the Expac, when our stats are crazy good, our weapon is massive. Then I think you could switch over on both Tyran, and fortified and be alright. I do hate the nerfs that both talents got, but I understand why. In TWW we get a whole new spender to add to the mix through Templar, or you get a ton of consistent damage from HoTS. Had they left it unnerfed our damage would be crazy. i'm also going to miss our Season 3 and 4 teir set. I wish it was a talent, and IT would a talent that I would happily take as a 2 pointer.
In testing, FR was the better damage option in the keys we have run....ES may do well in the next expac early on as we gear but with how tanks can pull with our current gear level, ES was not landing on priority targets reliably enough to justify keeping it for keys in S4....NGL, hope it stays that way as ES just should not be the mix for an AoE-centered build/playstyle....it can be fun in raid to see what you can pump into a boss before it goes off but it just did not seem to fit into keys. Ps I'm sad vers is gone, I liked being top damage and being able to never die, plus the heal off auto attacks.... healers have mentioned how squishy I am now. But dear God, only changing 3 pieces of gear and stats on 2 crafted items got me up to 76% mastery and down to 33% vers. On sark heroic I was 90k dps higher then thr next dps.
@@LordoftheWarcraft I guess we will see how much rot damage, un avoidable aoe there is. I've been forum posting a whole about if blizzard is going to change us this much, leave our auto attack self sustain
