Kinda disappointed they didnt do the Light novel version of megiddo, he did it in waves and the first wave he realized they were dying too fast so starting the second wave he would "miss" occasionally and not kill them instantly so that he would create terror/panic across the army by having people screaming and have people get their limbs cut off...hes basically shooting plasma at them so when they are shot it cauterizes the wounds upon existing the body which left some poeple dead standing without people near to them realizing they were already dead

Fun fact the author made the super OP healing potion too early that he started making situations that you can't use easily or have some limitations. This is one of those times with Gobta and Hakurou not being able to be healed by full potions. the first major drop and climb back up is almost over on this coaster ride. i have to say megiddo is 1 of my fav attacks and is something id expect from a person who never experienced magic, had no idea of the trappings and traditions and applied the 'common knowledge' of their previous life with the assist of a built in ai intent on helping its master however it can.
