The guy ended up going back to the kid and giving him more money telling him he undersold. Didn't have to, because he paid what the kid wanted. But still did. Not all of these folks know what they have, but when they are already giving you a heck of a deal and you go out of your way to be a dick even more and try to lowball them and an elderly woman at that. You give a bad rep to the hobby, all resellers, and it's extremely disrespectful.

I've found that all nes and snes games no matter the condition always work!! The only time those carts never work is if its been over heated or cracked, usually a good throughout cleaning of the cart pins with non-static absorbent erasers will always do the trick to get games working again,.

the console cartridge ports usually fail long before the cartridges themselves ever would, barring outside abuse (liquid damage, physical damage, etc.) The "OG" sideloader NES is especially prone to this since every single cartridge load+unload unduly stresses the 72-pin. (I've got one in a box awaiting replacement that serves as testament to this.)

I would’ve paid the $25…also when you’re checking them, take a look at the backs to see if there is 5 screws rather than the common 3 screws. 5 screw are worth a little bit more and some 5 screw games are really rare!

Caleb you are sleeping on cassettes! There was a case full at the last stop the case alone would be like $15-30 by its self and cassettes can sell for like $2-$10 sometimes a good thing to look out for at places like That almost always a quarter. Discogs is a good way to look them up real quick.

Those NES games aren't that dirty....Obviously he's never go into pawn shops in the early 00s when everything was covered in nicotine when you're trying to look for classic games...

So true! I mean let’s be honest, when it comes to the early 2000’s the first things you think of have to be low-rise jeans, Fallout Boy and nicotine-covered classic games in pawn shops!

@@PhoenixResale lots of PS2 games and Xbox and GameCube which some even came with a bonus of ashes. But it was all worth it when you found hard to find games like the Original Half Life on PS2
