Retro Gear Time : Sony DXC-M7 

Excellent presentation! In 1992, I had three DXC-M7 for my small television studio and they were great ladies for those days!

Will be beautiful if You show the image from the camera, still posible and You lost a great opportunity to do it. I hope for a next time. Thanks anyway!

i have a portable video panasonic NV 100 power on but the STOP button is always on and any other button works, can you give me any advice or a solution please???

Great video! I have a camera very similar to this, it"s the Sony DXC-3000A. For what it is, the picture is pretty darn good! Call me crazy, but I do enjoy shooting with this type of camera! I mean, my main cameras of choice are my trusty Panasonic DVX-100A (MiniDV) and my Sony DSR-300 (DVCAM).

Used 3 of these with the ccu setup on live shoots until 2005 when they were all washed away during hurricane Katrina. The picture these produce is excellent. I bought another M-7 after Katrina. It's been in storage the last 10 years and I'm getting ready to do some shooting with it. Before I lost them in Katrina, I used to hooked it up to a Sony DSR-50 DV Cam portable recorder via the multi pin cable to the recorder. Pre-HD digital recordings with this setup was phenomenal.

I have the Sony dxc 1820 full setup except for the tripod I've had my camera now for 25 or 30 years

How much did one of these cost back in the day??

Upwards to fifty pounds, total?? What you would likely spend on a chiropractor, you'd make-up in savings by dropping the gym membership.
