Question! Started my 2nd loc journey (comb coil). This coming Tuesday, February 19th, will mark two weeks. I want to wash using the stocking cap, without retwisting. Do I leave the cap and a wrapped towel on my head until it dries? Thank you in advance!

I used to have locs and started that set with comb coils. Don't use a towel, use an old t-shirt to soak up excess water. When you finish washing your hair, take off the stocking cap, check your hair to keep your parts maintained and then use a blow dryer to dry. Also I just started my new set of locs a week ago! Good luck on your journey! 😊

earlene champ sorry for the late response but you don’t have to keep the cap on after you’re finished washing. Tshirts are great and so are towels if they are microfiber only. The other towels cause frizz and can leave lint if they’re older.

@@KeishaCharmaine Thank you for your reply! I decided to do the two stand twist protective style, washing (conditioning) every 3 weeks. I will do this for about three more months. I might start my second sec of locs using comb coils thereafter but I'm loving the two strand twists for now lol!
