Thank you so much for showing us around! Shinsekai and its side streets have become my fave place to eat until you drop. Discovered it accidentally when I lived in Osaka. I love the retro atmosphere especially at night. Also you easily get in contact with locals.

I won't say that I'm an expert but I am confident to say I have probably visited Japan a few more times than an average person and I would just like express my surprise at today's video with a big "WOW!!!"!!! I haven't been to this "Shinseikai" before but just by looking at today's video really makes me want to fly to Japan right now! Shizzy said it is "super retro" but it still seems so interesting! Everything still seems super relevant despite being "super retro"! I would say that my favourite part of this video would be the "Jan Jan Yaki" as the green onions are just irresistible as well as the beef cutlet sandwich! Very surprised any natto snack was being served in an Osaka establishment. All my Kansai friends detest natto...everything about it. The taste, the smell, the slimy texture. Must be catering to tourists. Me, I love it, especially in "cha-han."
I still chew felix the cat gum from when I ran the streets of Sagamihara as a kid. I could only get it here and there for decades. Now I can order it off of Amazon 😍 Still love melon flavor and milk candy. Glad to see it becoming more available here.
@@JapanbyFood Yeah, we were kinda bad in that we figured out how to jack a certain type of pachinko machine. I was rolling in candy and had myself 2 Japanese girlfriends. Sorry, Old Man with stories.
you look so beautiful Shizuka in your dress, I adore it a proper elegant lady I love it , and id love to one day go over to Japan and try out those foods and experience the vast and wonderful traditions
Interesting to see this place in Osaka, will definitely try to visit this next time. :) Great video, looking forward to your next destination. Maybe you can go to Nikko next time? We went there back in 2019, and we weren't able to try any food in the area. It would be great to see what we actually missed. :D
feel sad to heard this is your last video in Osaka. I just want to request about some standing shop around Osaka (just want to try some good Yakiniku with good price haha). can't wait to see next video.
not to be ignorant but these people at this quaint cafe' bow so low it is like if the ran forward they could not see and would run into you. I guess u are royalty like the queen?
