Dude! I remember being a kid in the early 80s, going into a KayBee toys and seeing these on a big clearance table. I got the two headed dragon and the red wizard and then at Christmas I got almost all the other figures. Odd how this video made these memories come back.
My cousin probably had three figures or more that he kept in his toybox back in our kiddie days...which we never saw again when they moved to another town.
I can always always count on you mate to help me with these obscure toy lines. I found a random figure on Oz ebay, and wondered what they were. Thank you for your amazing channel. I think its official, you have everything!! 🤣🤣🤣🤩👌
Absolutely love this line, totally my early 80s wonky jam! Sadly these are a real pain to acquire in the UK, though I have managed to pick up a handful of the figures (even a few carded, though god knows how) a few years ago. Would love any of the sleds or beasts but I just don’t see that happening :( Another top vid Mike, cheers
Cool line of Medieval dragon themed figures in nice condition, thanks for showing it! No footpeg gaps for those narrow stances resulting in tipping can be frustrating. The Dragonriders of the Styx, not to be confused with the band Styx. ;)
I've watched enough of your videos that I reckon it's about time I subscribed. I'm a sucker for obscure, weird, and/or knockoff toys. Some of the stuff you show I never knew existed (like this line.) Good stuff.
Being huge into D&D at the time, I always paid attention to these figures at Toys R Us, though they were clearly cheaper than the official ones. Had a handful of the figures, recall seeing the Mystery Action Dragon but none of the other vehicles. I'd never seen the black version of the wizard before today though. I think the Black Knight might be based on an illustration from the AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide, "A Paladin in Hell," the armor is very similar.
@@tydiriumhanger1320 It was a show back in 2005-2007 dont know if they ever had figures but if u check out the show just imagine what the figures could be now adays
