6:18 man, I’ve spent 2 days trying to configurate retroarch just to play d&d for Sega Saturn. But when I scan the files like you did in 6:18 it just doesnt appear like yours do. What am I doing wrong. The files inside my Sega Saturn folders are called dade.03a, dade.04a, dade05a, dad.06 and dad.07. Can you spot my mistake? P.s. I did this steps with other roms for the same game and tried with the arcade since theres an arcade version
Did you try the manual import method at 06:45 in the video? Sega Saturn games don't seem to be too keen on being found through the automatic installer method so you need to manually point RetroArch to it. You need to tell it exactly where the games are located, choose the console type and, most importantly, choose the file extension type. RetroArch accepts .cue , .ccd , .m3u , .chd , .iso , .zip. All of the games I've imported are in the .cue format. You've noted a number of files in the D&D folder directory. Being numbered like that I would guess that they're .bin files, which are what make up the game. However, it requires a single very small file such as a .cue that I refer to as the boot file. Have a look in your folder and see if there's one. One Windows it's often shown with a Notepad icon. If you've got one of those then RetroArch should be able to find it provided you point it in the right direction in the Manual Import section. Hope that helps.
