New series called Retry? Seems a bit far fetched but I’m going to stick with it.

I remember in PTT season one, during the episode in the Painted World of Ariamis, when Daniel talked about the Phalanx boss. Now we're finally here to face it. What a long road to get here!

1:12:05 I just really love how after hundreds of hours of suffering through and conquering the toughest enemies of every Soulsborne game, Daniel has to tell Rory “Shields up, THEN attack” on the most beginner level grunt enemy. You love to see it.

I absolutely love Gav trying to lead Rory into the boss gimmick segment and Rory totally not following. "What're we known for with bosses?" - "Muck... Swearing!"

Rory immediately finding and accidentally using the push back/kick is so perfect

What a start Lads!! From the moment the OG music hit right through to the end twas a blast 😆 Banter Bus is fueled up & ready to roll again clearly. Had me laughing so much. And also Rory's reaction to the new jacket was priceless 😊

First episode and there's so much joy already. The little snippets of old series, the new bits taking root, the gorgeous new death and done counters, the beautiful video quality... Even though I don't have a 4K screen to view it on, there's a very visible difference in the quality even at 1080p. And you can joke all you like about how you're "forcing" us to look at you in 4K, but Gav really hit the nail on the head when he said you lads are only getting more attractive the older you get. (Please get glasses, Rory!) You've all grown and changed in so many ways over the years and having those little flashbacks to the early days really drives that home. Thank you so much for all the work and time you put into this. I'm eager to watch the rest but going to exercise restraint and make it last by only watching one episode a week... I suppose I'll have to tide myself over by going back and rewatching all the old series again and making my way through all those Producer stream archives that are still waiting for me. Hope you're enjoying a well-earned holiday!

What an hilarious start. The chap who beat Sister Friede spends an eternity running round Phalanx killing scrubs, the boss health bar a stalwart unmoving red mass for attempt after attempt, when the boss itself can be killed in about 5 hits. A great return and looking forward to more :)

Always excited for a new Finchy. This has been a top tier intro episode boys. I may not be able to afford patreon at the moment but I'll be here every week leaving a like and a comment. Best part of the episode is seeing Rory's sheer recklessness on that second run to Ostrava.

Great start to the series! The boys, at it again, good banter, good fights, and good grief. Can't wait to see what other mischief Rory gets up to. Also, having now played bloodborne, Rom from that game reminds me of Phalanx a bit, big squishy blob hiding behind slightly shielded blobs, slightly different I imagine because later in the fight, Rom actually fights.

Always look forward to the character creation portion of these, and was not disappointed. Excited for this new series, absolutely loving it so far!

Now that I've FINALLY gotten around to finishing my own playthrough of Demons Souls I can watch all of this! 😤

absolutely brilliant guys, I'm already loving this season

1 hour in and I love this series already, my PS5 has sat on the side for about 6 months with about 10 hours of play time on this game. Can't wait to get back into it and play through with the boys. The 4k capture and improved production quality has made such a difference, looking forward to your content in the years to come.
