I get it with the 2 week layoff. I’m coming to the end of an extended move soon, which has led to a 1 year layoff. Planning on a couple of simple builds to get going again.

Terry you know what video series I think you would be great at? Modeling Japanese Warplanes of WW2. You would be excellent at that because of your obvious interest in them and your no doubt vast knowledge on the subject. You could do videos on the different paints used for different models, who makes the most accurate colors, how to mix those paints yourself etc. then you could do reviews of different model companies versions of these planes and even real life history of these plains. Anyway I really enjoy your videos and hope you make some more!

Very true as with anything we do its a matter of work flow and pace. When we step a way we start to drop off on the details.. As to learning new skills and making a wider skill set pallet well that again comes with time.. Wise words.. The newer color is not bad; and as to the luster that would also come down to the line-unit and the repair and maintainer and aircraft handlers. IJN vs IJAF paint and year of service start. Just like US planes often after major servicing planes would be refitted and "refreshed".. A6M's vs the mid run A6M2-Ko differ wildly.. What many don't often know is that Mitsubishi was not the only maker of this airframe.. Good video and nice "rant" kind words of wisdom you give. Cheers to your channel and a Hat tip to you buddy..
