In this Vlog we return to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford. We explore the Airborne section, the 1940s Operations Room, the American Hangar and finish our day at the American War Cemetery.
----IMPORTANT----
We are not Historians. We are two ordinary chaps who are learning about WW2 history and documenting our journey. We are exploring this period of history from the sides of both the Allies and Axis. Those with sympathetic views towards the Nazi regime or hold any type of extreme views are not welcome here on WW2 Nation.

Such a beautiful cemetery. The dates always make me ponder these young people, many less than 21 years old and hardly had begun to live. They gave their lives so that future generations may live the lives they sacrificed. It's quite humbling. I've been enjoying your videos very much. Thanks for your efforts to show places I'll probably never be able to visit.

Another beautiful video. Have you guys ever thought about the joys that (you may not even realize) you bring to elderly people who will probably never get to travel to visit the WWII historical places you show. My husband was born at the beginning of the war in 1940 and I came along 3 years later. I have been to Europe several times (had a friend who taught school in Germany for 13 years on an army base and I was fortunate to get to visit her and travel). But we never went to any WWII sites other than perhaps the Obersalzberg area. Then my husband and I spent a month in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for our 50th Anniversary but still did not go to any battlefields or cemeteries. It has always been my dream to at least visit the Normandy Coast and the Battle of the Bulge area and other sites. Sadly we are no longer able to travel much anymore and certainly not overseas. So I personally would like to thank you and others for what you do to bring a little happiness to an old WWII history buff!

Thank you, I did not there was an American war Cemetery in the U.K. I have always known about the one in Normandy. The museum looks awesome. There is a military museum at Camp Mabry here in Austin, but nothing like this one. Thanks for an awesome presentation.

Enjoyed the content THERE IS JUST NOT ENOUGH OF IT ..... Just a bit of constructive criticism ...... You rush through interesting places just like IWM the whole episode should have been dedicated to it 1 section like the Airborne Section a 10 minute clip for a day long tour is just a teaser ...your vlogs aren't NEARLY LONG ENOUGH 30 min. would give you time to show more and not rush ....

A lot of grave stones, but the size of the cemeteries would be 100X larger in Russia. Thank you Russia the un-thanked hero from the average Americans point of view.

Stalin's Russia were no heroes. The USSR wanted to dominate Europe. And the pact with Hitler at the outset of the war shows their intent.

Whats with the bearded guy always wearing the hat in every episode, indoors and out??? Its irritating. Is he bald or something? Millions of guys are bald, get over it. Other than that, Damn good job boys!
