I never grow tired of you unboxing the rich lady locker and I was so surprised that you still had boxes that you hadn't opened! I thought you were down to the end of even selling off what was in that locker but as you were pulling clothing out I've seen items that you've already auctioned off and clothing that I haven't seen yet in your auctions! I hope I am right and there's still more to go! It keeps me coming back for more! LOL I hope that you put those two matching fancy boxes on your auction! I have a wood and metal box obsession and would love to add more to my collection! The Anne Geddes doll looks weird but she was very famous for her photography in the 90s- 20s for dressing infants in various costumes and creating the most adorable photographs! Then her photography went into greeting cards, and even dolls! I don't know if they still have value, but that's who she is! It kills me about that stunning mirror that you found! In the locker my son and I purchased, there were 4 six foot tall mirrors that were high end with stunning frames! One was still marked with it's original tag, 600 bucks, you list them on marketplace for 100 bucks and people want them for nothing! It makes me ill! 😟 They are so big too, I'd have no way to lug them anywhere to sell them elsewhere, so they've sat on marketplace! We only sold 2 of the 4 so far! Anywho Jack, thanks for revisiting what's left of the rich lady locker, little does that lady know that she has huge fans! 🤣😂
Hey Judith! How did the unboxing of the locker you bought go. I saw you talk about it during a recent sale. My 2c worth about marketplace and elsewhere, there's always going to be 'low-ballers' when it comes to selling stuff. I'm sure Jack would concur. That's just the way some people are. Just like someone who'd buy 4 colors of a $300 blouse because they like it in every color (opposite situation, similar mentality). Sometimes, there's no rhyme or reason. I concur with enjoying the adventure with Jack. I wonder also, she's got a daughter. I wonder if her daughter has picked up her indulgent ways now that's she's at least 10 years older.
@@angelsvintagetreasures , I wonder about her daughter also, or if rich lady has had to come back to the " real world" since Jack had mentioned that she had gone through a divorce. I wonder if her spending habits have changed any? A lot to wonder about! Jack has been incredibly helpful and a great resource in my newbie attempt in wanting to try to see how buying a storage locker at auction would go for us! Unfortunately here where I live we do not have live auctions like they do in Cali, it is all online so the prices get quite high, no dollar lockers here! I was excited to win the locker we got, it was filled with high end furniture! Unfortunately other than Craigslist, marketplace, and offer up, there is not to many platforms to sell it on so trying to get a good price for it has been a challenge. So far we have made a small profit, nothing like the killing Jack has made on this locker, but I wasn't expecting anything more than gained experience our first time. I totally agree with him, there is nothing greater than the excitement you get on the win, then the unboxing of items! I even get that rush on a smaller scale finding goodies at thrift stores and garage sales! It is the thrill of the hunt I guess, but I agree with him also that some people find that golfing or sking, and some of us find it turning trash into treasure! LOL See you next auction! ✌
I love seeing the rich lady’s locker stuff! It is crazy!! Maybe not to her, but definitely to most people! I’m really glad you are giving her personal stuff back to her! She can re-buy everything else, but her pictures are precious! I love all your videos! What a blessing to do what you love, and you seem really good at it! God bless!!🙏🏼🕊💙
Receipts so not a shoplifter. Wow. Everything is so wonderful. Such a score for you. I Berberine heard what you paid, but looks like you really scored!!! Congrats, brother!
The knives are older pieces of P C. I have had two of the knives like the ones you found for several years. They are as sharp today as when they were new. The sheaths do have a built in sharpener.
It is crazy, back in the mid 80s I kept a storage locker in Cocoa beach, I would pay up for a year at a time, but I traveled overseas for work so id be gone for months at a time. If I would have gotten smoked overseas no one would have had access to it. I had that shop till 99 but the price went up too much and I foolishly got married. For quite a few years I lived in the shop for a week or so at a time, before going back overseas. At one point I salvaged a boat. Often id pull the boat up to the canal and tie off right across the street, sometimes Id swim from where I kept the boat moored in Merritt island. The swim across would take me roughly 2.5 hours Id ride my bike or run back. Nothing Gucci in it, I kept a Toyota 4wd FJ40, tools, guns, dive gear, 2 beach cruisers to hit the local bars and my prized 82CB900F and a 78Yamaha DT250.
My humble opinion, I think it's obscene to spend money like you have an endless supply. I'm not saying to NOT buy nice things, but it is a different mentality when you buy and leave behind a locker full of high priced items. I grew up around money in Saratoga, California. I've known people with that mentality. For some reason, I didn't care if we were 'well off' or not. I cared how I treated people and they treated me. My father was a frugal man 'til the day he died 3 1/2 years ago. I learned from him to be frugal. Money does not make you happy. This is only my opinion, take it or leave it. Blessings to all. Marianne from Washington state
My bet is.. since all of this still had tags… either the owner had a mental buying addiction… or got most of this with a five finger discount. Anyone who is “rich” would not leave stuff like that in a storage locker unless they were keeping it away from “someone” like.. the law or a spouse who would have a fit if they knew this existed. Maybe she abandoned it because she went to jail??? Cleptos travel on their “spoils” as well and try to scam everything!!
I've seen people with extremely disorganized lives, houses, and possessions who have lots of money and lots of valuable possessions. It's just harder to see the value because you have to look beyond the chaos. An ability to look past that chaos, is a great asset. I've also seen people who are very organized who have no real value in their property, but they take great care of what do have. Organization is a trait of personality not wealth.
I can not fathom going out and buying all that stuff and never wearing it. I can't even make it through the month on my ss. I hope Janna and the girls get to pick some things out. Can't wait to see more of the hoard of cloths and the other things she had.
Glad you guys got such a good locker! I enjoy watching your videos. It was cool to see your wife in the beginning of the “rich lady” locker too and how she was so happy.
My daughter inherited my Grandmothers "Just The Right Shoe" Collection. I think she has about 150 pieces. She however does not have The Ballerina Slipper! Great Video Jack!!!
I'd take the Reidel to the market or sell it locally. Less money beats letting the shipper smash it, and a cash sale sure beats chargebacks or filing an insurance claim! As for the prices on a lot of the clothing, it's in the realm of "If you have to ask you can't afford it." 28:50 Straight to auction. That stuff is NOT cheap new. Voice of experience.
Jack there are alot of boxes back there, what do you mean one more day???? I want so much more....Wish I was there to help....Love you God Bless you and Janna and the girls......love love love
You popped on after watching another program Was impressed how you handled all the items. Not throwing them on the ground. She doesn't have junk that's for sure.💰 Wonder what happened to her. Hope she is safe.🙏
Loving these big payout locker finds love to see small businesses thrive especially in these hard times long may they last my friend god bless you and your family and all the best for the future
I'm gonna subscribe, mostly for your organization, the way you separate items and your hands free recorded videos, and you do make it a fun adventure.. You are killing me though tossing the lil make up bags carry totes, must be the hoarder in me.. Lol
I saw that you found a signed Swedish glass bowl in the storeroom. The signing is: "Orrefors LH 4384-13" Orrefors is the glass factory and the designer's name is Lars Hellsten. The bowl is available in a few different sizes and the series, which began production in 1978, is called Corona ... yes it's true! :) It's fun to watch as you go through the stores. Thank you for sharing this. Martin Sweden
I cannot believe the gold mine that you have found in this locker. It just doesn't end. Check out the Pampered Chef items. They are pretty expensive, not the most expensive but worth money! I am like you Jack, I could never imagine spending so much money on some of the things she did. Just wow! Great video mas always.
Awesome clothes might be incorrect but haven’t some of these items already hit auction? Great video entertaining & love your humor! Only 5hrs in 11k views 2k likes 129 comments 0 ❤️ or answers. i absolutely love your running monolog. Jack u r so informative, so funny & so entertaining! i can't watch just one... 😊👍👋 keep up the good work. im a BIG fan.
The Vietri is Italian in origin but it is exclusively imported to the USA through a small company based in Hillsborough, NC. It's expensive and most often sold in higher end department stores. Hope that helps.
I hope the previous owner is okay. But good luck guys that's a excellent haul good on you mate bringing home the bacon and your entire family is also enthusiastic. Savour it like a excellent cigar
Do some of the storage places ever ransack the lockers before they auction them (obviously not this one, lol). Seems like it would be super easy to open the locker, go through the contents and then slap on a cheap lock. I've noticed in some of your ransacked lockers that there are framed family pics left behind, that seems super odd to me if the previous owner was the ransacker.
North Carolina is where "Replacements Limited" is located. So when a high end piece of China or dishware or glassware is broken, people go through that company to replace it.
Hey Jack, you know from time to time I ask you this important question, and that is simply this. Have you come across any kilts yet? When you do remember to keep me in mind, because I'll be the one buying the kilts for me. And I'll also tell you what the value of them are used, because I wear them all the time. Have a blessed Sunday Jack, and give your wife a hug for my wife and I we think you're awesome
As I was watching , I was thinking about a pain some of that shipping is...like hand blown giant glass vases. Living near Silicon Valley and Marin, have you considered high end Consignment Shops?
Dont forget to thank the lord for such a great find....and by doing that think about paying tithes at your favorite church..and more prosperity will come your way. That has been a terrific lifetime of a find locker and i too shake my head while watching at the waste to me of such money spent on a pair of underwear when that money could have fed so many homeless folks..Bless you and your family.
A lady named Doris has a Los Angeles Vintage Top End clothing store It's called "The Way We Wore". She would possibly drive up to buy a number of these clothes from you
I’ve watched your auctions you could get so much more for the designer clothes if sold on a different platform. Don’t give it away, take a rest from the flea markets and get selling online for more money Just my opinion
I am not impressed with poshmark or others and that you have to have people follow you and no quick sells could take months. He has bills and kids/wife. You don't always get more on these selling apps
I think you should have kept a couple of the high dollar receipts for a souvenir. You could look back fondly and remember your conquest. 🤣🤣 There are definitely people out there that live better than the rest of us!!!
