Return to the Wrekin - riding the stupidly slippy and steep tracks
I did try to warn them. I mentioned on a number of occasions that the tracks on The Wrekin in Shropshire were bloody steep, that they made the steep one at Eastridge look weedy and that given the amount of rain we have had recently, it was likely to be incredibly slippery.
As it turned out, it wasn't quite as slippery as expected but boy is it steep. On this ride, I was joined by Marc, Christian and Conor (Ned Flanders) and we ended up having yet another best ride of the year.
