Returning LOADS of Bottles and Cans Using the Tomra Reverse Vending Machines

Filmed on 8/27/2021, I head out to the grocery store with a lot of bags filled with bottles and cans to turn in for money. For this video, I decided not to trim/speed up the video just in case anyone wants to watch the whole video. Anyway most of these bottles and cans came from the park I work at. Soda cans towards 20:11 came from a different undisclosed location, they actually sat outside all night due to an event the night before I returned them. I figured I would pick them up before work if they were still there, which they happened to be. In total, I made $41.10 which is not bad considering it took a few weeks to collect this many returnables.

Good stuff, your RVM videos never disappoint. That glass bottle on top of the machine is an Aldi brand bottle, and only Aldi will take them. It might be worth saving the rejects and trying them elsewhere too, if they say MI 10c.

That's amazing! I'm both happy and anoyed that they don't have reverse vending machines her in Washington because on one hand I could make a lot more money if every bottle/can were 10 cents each. We don't get any money for glass or plastic in the town that I live in. If you want to get money for your cans you need to take them to a scrap yard. But on the other hand I wouldn't be able to recycle as many cans because a lot of the cans that I recycle I find crusher in parking lots crusher or are too old to be accepted by the machine.

You should be able to have the rejects hand counted at the same place. At least here in NY they do then they usually send the UPC to be programmed

I'm not sure where in India i can find these because a lot of people here just throw randomly, even wrong dustbins like putting wet ones in dry waste dustbin. Still, it's like a really good activity to do

Do you have some kind of returnable method over there? (Where you can take bottles and cans in to get money)

@@Jamestube8439 at this point, i have no idea. I haven't seen any recycling machine before. Though I only seen one very long time back.

Yes most of these videos are bottles and cans I’ve found unless I write personal collection in the description (personal collection would be bottles and cans I purchased and drank) but parks are good places to find bottles and cans, sporting events are also good opportunities to find returnables. Occasionally downtown areas of cities are also good places to look

Ya know it truly is amazing to see what people will throw away. When I collect um and turn um in I wait for recycle day here in my neighborhood. I start the day before hit all of the recycle barrels then go back early the next morning and hit the rest of them that weren't out the day before.I live in Mass. But I take um all down to Ct. SO when I collect um I take beer, water, soda, and seltzers. I put them in all loose under my tonneau cover on my pick-up truck keep a long handled wooden rake in the bottom of my truck then rake um all out into 2 shopping carriages worth. If I get anything close to or over $100.00 I'd say that's a pretty good day. Keep on turnin um in.
