Wow...New van how exciting!! I love watching your videos!! Off to New adventures!! Have fun.. safe travels!! Can't wait to see where you go this year !!
I was pretty set on getting a Winnebago but no longer, the Mrs and I are thinking we need to go look at a Grech. Honestly we weren’t even considering it until we saw your videos but now it’s definitely in the mix… thank you
Way to go! What a beautiful coach! Can't wait to hear the "expanded" tour! I love your organizational skills! Have a great week! Much love from SC, Jane❤🙏
Oh yay the mouth piece for keeping airway open and helping to prevent strokes. Great going. I've never gotten any body to try it. I used to get woken up by sirens at night from emergency vehicles. The first morning after waking up I was glad to have slept the whole night with out waking. And my girl friend did get woken up by me gasping for air. I enjoyed your. Vids since the very first episode. Thanks
What a great walk through. You've got this Class A'er thinking about being a Class B'er. Grech have obviously spent a lot of time perfecting the layout and optimizing the space. Can't wait to see it when you get to FL. Best, Brian
Wow! another new van to try out. It looks beautiful. I am sure it costs a lot. I would have to win the lottery to get one. Can't wait to see what adventures wait for you.
I meant to comment this on another of your videos...I use a travel steamer. Its a lot smaller than an iron and I steam everything while it's hanging on a hanger. So easy and no board necessary.
Brian, I have always admired your hair being cut nicely all the time. I have wondered how you never mentioned the barber shop and low and behold you ARE the barber. I have cut my hair all my life too and taught my oldest son how to cut his own hair when he went to college. He did a great job too like you! Awesome!
Great organization ! Reminded me of Steve Martin in "The Jerk" (all I need is this.....) So many things came off of Stella after this last jaunt ~ Look forward to the next tour & wow ! 16,000 miles in 6+ months.
Dang! I missed a perfect clip to insert there! 😂 Amazing how fast the mileage accumulates. We usually traveled that or less in a year when living back in Iowa. I bet Stella have a sigh of relief. 😂
So wait! They gave you another band new van? When I saw the thumbnail I was very interested to see what type of RV you guys would get, but the last thing I expected was another class b. It clearly is the most convenient, and economical type of RV to have, as long as you don’t mind living in a closet. Clearly you guys have made it work and enjoy the benefits of a class b.
@@LivinRVision yep we have 31 foot class C with super slide, my wife would NEVER give up the double loveseat recliner with console storage and cup holders
😄😄 Ha Ha, Brian's digging a hole...he's digging a hole... I'm with ya Brian. I look around me here at home and wonder why we have so much stuff. One more thing to dust. 🤪 I love the darker gray on the interior. Does it make if feel or seem smaller because it's darker? I'd say, cozier. 😉 thanks for showing us around.
There is no pantry. We have it stored in one upper cabinet above the sink and in one side of large cabinet under the counter. We’ll give an updated tour later and show it more.
Our Alexa answered you 😀. It was great. Looking forward to seeing the tour of this one and where it takes you. Hope you enjoy it as much as you did the other one.
Looks like a winner! That was a fast move. You are so organized. We are ret to go tomorrow at 3 in the morning for Texas! We have snow flurries here this morning, it is time to go.😎🤓🥸❄️
We usually stay away from 🥶 temps but ironically we will find out soon as we travel to some colder than normal temps. So far in high 30° to 40° nights, it has heated well. You always have the heater from the Diesel engine too or that AC if you ever needed an extra boost or backup from the Timberline heater or AC unit for hot days. We have not had to use either in conjunction with, but they can also be a quick way to help heat or cool the coach quicker.
@@LivinRVision What about water lines and tanks? I think Grech has heated tanks. I’ve heard some people have to winterize their van when traveling on the road in the cold for longer periods. The cold combined with cold winds on the highway can sometimes cause issues.
The lines coming in is supposed to be insulated and if you have the Timberline system running while driving in those cold temps as well as your heat from the front dash/engine, the interior lines would not freeze. You always have to keep the heating system on in cold temps like that, which in this case would be the Timberline Heater. I will double check with the Grech RV engineer though since you brought up this good point.
So impressed with the Grech. I fe like after 16,000 miles you haven't had to deal with a lot of QC issues. The storage is incredible, especially that rear center cabinet. Brian your sarcasm cracks me up. Looking forward to hearing about the new rig :)
That’s what we were thinking. Pretty unusual for a new rv to not have any QC issues during the first 6 months. We had 2 minor things. 1) black tank valve needed lubed, which is not a QC issue, and 2) The AC unit needed tightened down. That was a QC issue. Someone had forgotten to use loctite on the bolts and they vibrates loose. Very minor. Bringing laughter and happiness to others is a blessing for us. We love to see others laugh and have a good time. 🧡😊🤓
I know busy Guy but what head phone do you use when driving? We just bought a Grech, all your vids help us make the right decision thank you, Wifey not big fan of my music and hopefully doing a lot of road trip and need my tunes
I use the Sony headphones for editing when Michelle is driving and Michelle uses her Apple headphones when I am driving, usually to watch our newest video.
We have to call "her" Alex so we don't set "her" off all the time! lol Safe travels, you two! We have a little place near Tampa, if you want to driveway surf for free! Hugs from Laura & Scott!
Alex is much shorter than “You know who” 😂 We’ll have to start using Alex instead. Lol Sounds great! We’d love to catch up with you two as well! We’ll be there for the Tampa Show, so maybe we’ll see you sometime then.
We love the white too! We liked the lighter interior better though, but this is still very nice. We’re just partial to light interiors in a small space especially. 😂 We need to meet y’all in Vegas sometime. We have a new favorite Mexican restaurant there that’s really good. 👍🏻
You didn’t explain….. thought you had the old one for six months but are you now ambassadors for the new one? Did you buy? Can you fill us in a bit more please. Doesn’t look too much different, hope the bathroom is a little bigger. Looking forward to more info next week. Where are you headed now? Boy this family of yours needs to know more!!!! Good luck, you have the BEST channel.
Hi Ronald! Yes, we did have it for 6 months. We mentioned in the video that Grech is switching us to their newer model that has a few updates AND that we would be talking about those at a later time. We are still testing these models by putting them to the test living full time in them. We have other plans in place so we will not be talking about it more next week. We will talk more about it soon though.
Good morning. I just want you to know first say hi and tell you both that I enjoyed watching your videos. I’m a new watcher and plan on watching your future videos. My only question is what’s your opinion regarding Airstream Atlas. Thanks and please continue making these beautiful informative videos. ❤️❤️❤️
Just curious what the story is that you became Ambassador’s for the Gretch brand? Did you pitch first.. did they see your channel and impressed by all those attributes you bring through the camera😉 Think its a worthy episode. Have fun, the new ride deluxe.
OK, guys. You absolutely have to dub in your voices at the end of your opening song “Ret togo “ by Brian then Michelle echos. So cute. Just a creative suggestion. PS. Have never told you that your opening song is great.
Hey GT -C! Good to hear from ya. Yes, our job is to test these units which gives Grech a good idea how the unit does and how new updates work out. Being full time really puts them through the test.
@@LivinRVision Yep...I'm back in US...so good to be back home! Is the new Strada a 2023 model ( I bet)? Can't wait to see the presentation with what's new and different on this one. Did you see in Riverside a 2023 Terreno 4x4?
Nice unit guys! Still ambassadors for GrechRV? They couldn't ask for a better couple to represent them. Honest reviews/opinions are priceless in this RV market. Can't wait to see the new van. Safe travels you guys!
Actually, it’s not “free”, we wish we could keep it but that’s not the case. We are just testing it and doing our part with reporting back with pros and cons and suggested improvements.
Loved watching your organization skills. Done a lot of packing but you did it so well! Can’t wait till your new tour. I do prefer the lighter color cabinets though. This new one is depressing me! Question??? What bike carrier do you have???
We prefer the lighter cabinet color also. The bike rack is this one: www.1up-usa.com/product/2in-heavy-duty-double-bike-rack/ They also sell the swing arm called RakAttach
There is nothing noted in the owners manual that we have found about weight limits in the cabinets, but we’re sure that they made them strong enough to fill the cabinets with your “normal” stuff and not something heavy like gold bars. 🤪😉 That said, the coach itself has a GVWR and payload capacity that we talked about in a previous video and showed our CAT scale weight ticket that showed we were under. But again, the cabinets should be able to hold your normal items that a person would bring with them. Over 6 months and we did not have any issues with what we brought with us, which was a lot. Lol
Happy Saturday! What’s the new van’s name? We enjoyed watching how you pack. I would have a hard time in the van because of all my yarn! We also seem to have more groceries like rice, noodles, canned goods. You probably purchase just what you cook for that meal. Yesterday I once again went through cabinets deck uttering and reorganizing. I seem to do it every 4 months. I’m always looking how to organize. So today’s video was interesting for me. Looking forward to hearing of the new things!
Most of our meals main course is in the fridge or freezer. Any sides we get we have plenty of room in the cabinets up by and under the sink. We usually get meals for 3-4 days but we can fit a weeks worth depending on what it is. We always go to the store so we don’t keep a lot especially since we are out and about a lot and eat out quite often. We get those big bags of salad from Costco for our lunches a lot and we usually have to eat those within 2-3 days max or they will go bad. Therefore, with our lifestyle, we don’t keep a lot in the fridge. Mainly lunches and like we said, 2-3 days of dinners. 👍🏻😊🤓
Lol as mentioned in that video, it wasn’t to just have the tires rotated. We asked Grech if they wanted to take a look at everything since we were going to be in the area. They cleaned the AC coils, lubed the black valve and rotated tires and whatever else they may have done. Possibly they wanted to start prepping it to sell. One of our viewers already purchased it.
Hmm we were in a Class A for 2 years, an Airstream for 1 year and a van for 6 months so far. Things always seem to change. We look at ourselves more as a travel channel. We are never stuck to just one type of RV like you may see with many other channels. We take one day at a time and have no “plan” to how long we will be traveling and living in a van. This is just the opportunity and direction we are on for now.
When we were towing we traveled at around 62-64 but with the van it is much safer to travel a little faster. If the speed limit is 70 or 75, we typically keep it at 72 with the van.
@@LivinRVision I get it. We have towed a car behind a couple assorted motorhomes for years. We had 27', 40', 25', 29'. Now we have a 20' class B. However, my husband has always been a tailgater. He puts cruise control on at 72, and passes going 80 mph and only maintains one car length from the car or truck in front. I panic constantly, hence, I don't like to drive on major highways like interstate I-95 with him. Plus we drive 8-10 hours in a day, putting us on edge... This is the life of some Motorhome wives.
Brian, I’m interested to know if the mouthpiece works well for your sleep apnea. I have it too, and hate the cpap machine. Can’t wait to see how the new van works out.
