If only you'd go to ND and create the best linebacking core in the nation for years to come: Reuben Foster, Jaylon Smith, and Alex Anzalone would be unreal.
and your right reuben foster probably wont visit iowa because we dont contend for a BCS bowl game every year, but thats because we have 2 and three star recuits. And even with the major difference in talent of recruits, Iowa still has more NFL players then Alabama... And we have recently been rated as the program that improves there players the most in all of college football. thats good coaching. and by the way a lot of are staff coached in the NFL and did great
Wow did you see that kids head pop off at 1:00? then a guys legs get torn off at 1:15? then he climbs inside a guy and exlpodes him from the inside at 2:00. How about when he rips the guys hand off and throws it like a disc at the qb causing a sack with just the opposite teams hand? His use of the mortal combat scorpion spear at 3:00..... Cant wait to see him on the plains.......so much potential
I just dont understand your argument? At Bama the best player will play. Example Vinnie Sunseri was a 3 star 5'11 LB and got more PT out of any freshman on our team and will more than likely be a starter next year over 4 and 5 star players. Him going to Iowa and starting wont help him develop at all. He wont have to work at all to get a spot up there. Also if this LeVar Woods was so special he wouldnt be up there. He would be at a top school right now.
Are you serious. Look at this kids film and size. If he has what it takes up stairs he will play immediately for any team in college football. Glad he is going to Bama. I dont even know why you are saying anything about Iowa. LOL, like serious man Iowa. Get real. That shows how much you know about recruiting. This kid isnt just a average 5 star. He is a once in a lifetime recruit. Name 1 LB that you have seen in the last 5 years that has his size and skill set coming out of highschool
Lol its ok, I'm just trolling really :). And please for god sakes don't associate us(Bama) as SEC fans, some may root for other teams, but the majority realize it doesn't fucking matter who you root for it won't change the outcome of the game so we don't care. We hate every SEC team ( exception of Kentucky& Vandy), the fans, their sporting programs. Really its only good for us to go to the N.C every year for the money, if it isn't our team we could care less really of the outcome.
chill bro i just got worked up and started throwing random stupid facts and opinions some in which arent even true. It just pisses me off when SEC fans think that they are way better then any other conference and the best team from other conferences dont have a chance against the SEC's best teams. And I know Nick Saban is a good coach. He is one of the best in college football i just dont really like him, mainly because he gets recruits like this and iowa doesnt.
dtblitz55 The lineman fact was just listing that if he plays running back he will have a good o-line to block for him and after watching this he looks like a better linebacker then runningback anyway. And first off it must have worked for Auburn because they have been a good team in recent years and incase you forgot they won a national championship game in 2011 and second off this kid is good but Alabama gets a lot of guys like this and if he went there he would probably redshirt
oh and if he is a linebacker in college then Iowa just got new linebacker coach LeVar woods and this guy will get more out of his players then all most any other coach in the nation... as well as the rest of the iowa coaching staff. And why go to a top program that gets recuits like you every year like Alabama to become just another player when you could go to a team like iowa and help us move from an average program to an elite program
Bama fans seem to think that if recuits like this go to Alabama they will for sure be a future top 5 draft pick but if they go anywhere else, ESPECIALY somewhere other then the SEC then he wont... That is the dumbest think someone could ever think. someone like this could go to anyschool and do well any depending on how well they do will decide where they are in the draft. Oh and IOWA has more lineman drafted in the NFL then any other program in the country. GO HAWKS!!!
what a dumb comment. you can say any year is a "down year". Infact, every win Bama has over Auburn this past decade has been during a "down year". Bama has a one game streak going. Oh yeah, and i recall another year when Bama was on the cover of pre-college football season sports illustrated. What years was that again? was it 2010? oh thats right...
yea he has became very good this year he came out of nowhere kuz last year when we played them i promise you i had never heard of him amd this year he was beast on defense. we suffered a last minut lost against them by a field goal. Do anybody kno wat skool he is goin 2 but I wish him the best on his future football career. From d RB of americus sumter high.
You're forgetting that after this year Nico Johnson and possibly CJ Mosley are leaving. I'm not saying a flip isn't possible but the main reason he is at one of Auburn's High schools is so he can enroll early. If he does flip its not a big deal for Bama anyways their loaded at LB but this guy would start if he came.
Bama is good because of its coaches. How many teams out there like Texas get top ranked recruiting classes but never develops them? We recently had 3 coaches get offers from other schools and one from the NFL. Don't even waste your time on here, RF will never even visit Iowa. Also, there is no way he would be red-shirted.
I am glad he is going to Bama.. he could start his freshman year like a Hightower or McClain but kinda nervous because he has transfered to Auburn school high for some reason so he will be right in their back for his senior year. So we all know that dirty Auburn recruiting might come into play
give up he's not going to Iowa. I appreciate how good of a fan you are, but honestly he's not going to Iowa and he's not going to be redshirted at Alabama either. This kid is the best high school LB prospect in recent memory. He might not start, but he sure as hell ain't getting redshirted
Great to see that his talent hasn't gotten the best of him. He sticks to his fundamentals and makes sound tackles instead of highlight plays. A truly dominant player. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did he just do all of that... without taunting or celebrating once? Amazing.
OMG!! I'm blown away with this kid. He is a men among boys! Never saw a junior film this impressive. Imagine what his Sr film will look like. I mean, can it get any better?? Can you win the Butkus award as a Freshman??!! ROLL TIDE!!!
Bama and UGA were both down in the 90's. Mark Richt got to to UGA in 2001, whats his record against the Barn? More importantly, whats his record in the last 6 years against them? Will Auburn ever beat Bama again? That $180,000 hired gun is long gone brother..
He's big, fast, and strong and will no doubt be a legit prospect, but every linebacker is going too look like superman when no one is even trying to block him.. His highlight tape looks good though. He kind of reminds me of a bigger version of trey Blackmon
if u heard his interviews he is tryin to go to the best school that will give him a shot at the nfl..... on tv ever saturday and they are every year top ten Bama is where he wants to go..... even if he decommits hell go to a SEC school
Alabama's offense is gonna hate practicing against this guy. To think Florida might be seeing this guy and Jeff Luc from FSU in the same year. Good thing Florida's D can smash some fools too. Now if that offense will just come around...
Hulk and Superwoman had a kid. Because of all the time they were out saving the world, they let Ray Lewis and Dick Butkus watch over him and train him. And that my friends, is the story on how Reuben Foster became the boss he is today.
This Kid is head and shoulders above Robert Nkemdiche. I was not impressed by Robert's film at all... This kid is breath-taking on a highlight reel. The best tackler I have ever seen at the high school level.
Ok, seriously! It's like watching a hungry and ferocious lion set loose on a herd of poor zebras. This highlight looks like some National Geographic documentary about lions of the serengeti.
like really in all honesty...with kirby smart and saban coaching him...and cochran getting ahold of him....he will be NFL ready in two years ....but if he stayed all four that would be nice =]
Reuben is the best LB prospect I have ever seen. If he would of stayed at Troupe I firmly believe he would be commited to UGA right now. Its too bad he couldnt of transfered to Newnan.
hey, i've deleted some comments lately with some bad language in them. i don't mind the love, but i'd appreciate it if we keep this part of youtube free of profanity please. thanks
Foster come and check the campus out it is a great safe place great program to play for you will be one of the players to help us get back on track Go Blue !!!!1
Why would anyone leave Alabama for Iowa? Ignorant statement don't you think? Besides he won't leave Bama, he's already been recruiting Robert Nkemdiche to come play as well
Lol good one "They're good because they have good recruits, not good coaches." Yeah you're right, Saban/Kirby Smart(the defensive assistant coach) wasn't the reason we won it in 09, regardless of the fact that the majority of the players were recruited by Mike Shula, it was clearly the recruits *sarcasm*
Seriously I have never even heard Levar woods' name before. I have heard the names Nick Saban and Kirby Smart though. Oh and 2 more names come to mind: Rolando McClain and Donta Hightower both Lbs who went in the first round from Bama recently lol Iowa hahaha
Ok..This kid obliterates rather than tackle. Tackling is a second option to him, he wants to destroy you first before he thinks of getting to that second option.
must have edited the post. one of the comments was about sending more linemen to the NFL than any other school or something to that effect. i may have replied to the wrong post
and after he redshirted he still wouldnt play much untill sohpmore or junior year where as in if he went to Iowa he would start as a true freshman. And he would get a better education at iowa. And i bet you didnt know this but Iowa is 8th in the nation for sending players to the NFL, which is ahead of Alabama, and we typically get 2 and three star recuits.
