From the beginning there were lots of parallels between jon's and dany's stories. Both were somewhat outcast from great houses, both had magic connexions with animals (dragon/wolf), both become leaders of foreign people seen as savages (wildlings/dothraki)... It was obvious they would either be lovers or enemies.

sansa is the one who needs to relax. if it wasn't for dany, her brother wouldn't even be alive. jon swore the north to Daenerys so for her to act like that is really disrespectful, especially when dany is literally coming to save her ass while all she does is complain about everything. the north didn't have the men and they didn't have the weapons, dany provided everything. and now they're complaining about the food... it will never be enough. they want their independence so bad but they can't even protect or feed themselves 😭

Arya's age was around 11 when GOT started, so she is 18 in Season 8. Gendry was 16 in Season 1, and 24 in Season 8. So 6 years apart. I back in the day had one bf 14 years older than me and a few years later one that was 11 years older. It is very tough to feel this sexual chemistry with these two, especially where we watched her grow up.

I thought it was the best show ever when it came out, but you have to remember there was a very long wait between the last seasons and the interest in the outcome dwindled among many fans. You guys are lucky to not have to wait years fir another season. Maybe that's a better way to watch it. All I know is as fans we got dicked in real time. Edit: I enjoy season 8 more than I did the first time I saw it but it still doesn't redeem the lazy writing for this season. Especially when they had an extra 2 year break to come up with literally anything other than just a quick wrap up.

Crying tears of joy at y'all recognising Sansa is a mother. Like, she's not playing season one Sansa kiddie games easily swayed by compliments, she's grown as hell and rightfully wary of Danaerys. And her question to Jon ("Did you bend the knee to save the North or because you love her?") is actually so astute when we as the audience remember Danaerys had already pledged to fight for the North THEN Jon bent the knee. Because he saw she was in pain and he loved her. Arya and Sansa coming out of the previous seven seasons as the least trusting to anyone without the last name Stark and trusting each other implicitly just warms me because HELL YEAH STARK SISTERS FOR LIFE! Arya's the muscle and Sansa's the brains: "What y'all finna eat? How are we gonna feed two adult dragons IN THE NORTH? You grew up with Cersei do you really believe she's gonna help you?" She's asking logical questions. Arya is 18 at this point if I'm not mistaken (a year for each season) Sansa is 21 Jon is 26 Dany is 26 Bran is 17 Personally, I mostly enjoyed season 8. I hope y'all can find some fun in it too!

Honestly the people who criticize season 8 would have criticized it no matter what. I haven’t seen season 8 for a couple months now but I remember it fondly. It tied up loose ends pretty nice. They have given us 7 other seasons of talking and schemes 3 episodes of some talking but awesome scenes of dragons and battles was nice. Season 8 wasn’t as bad as people make it seem. They still gave us GOT moments

For the record Arya is 18 on last season (real life actress was 21-22 at the time). Gendry is 23 (the actor was quite older than that too, 31). A decent difference but far from anything unnatural. You guys are kinda off on the age guessing game, so don't feel bad about it all. Some women are simply petite style, its just different, it doesn't make them kids. You need to take into account that characters age roughly 1 year per season to follow the story.

The whole reason he was following tyrion when cat captured him was beacuse he knew "lannisters shit gold". What's tyrion gonna offer? double what the queen of the seven kingdoms can offer? nah. Bronn's got plenty of friends. Little shiny golden ones, sitting in chests, given to him by the queen...

It's still sad that in actual fact in the books Euron is anything but basic. He's way more complex, terrifying, maniacal, mysterious and twisted villain than Ramsey and Joffrey. He was a step up. But in the show it's like they just thought "we can't be bothered creating another interesting villain so we'll just make him seem like an irrelevant annoyance that adds nothing to the show" 😞

That’s the other thing, the Stark family name is so suss now. Brann is a creepy 3-eyes bird. Sansa is basically Cersei. Arya is this lone, cold assassin. and Jon Snow is a Targaryen. Where’s Rickon when you need him!😅

Something I think that people forget is that the hundred of storylines and characters that die off throughout don't get replaced for the last couple seasons. It's be boring paced the same or they'd have to introduce a few more URon add ins a last minute, with no purpose or attachment. They simply rushed things.

Mad respect to Mike, calling them out pretty well this episode, but not flawlessly 🙃. Starting with the beginning, the boy climbing to see the Queen coming to Winterfell, paying homage to episode 1, with Bran climbing to get a view of the King coming to Winterfell. You did miss on the music, which was the same, when the King was marching in episode 1. I hope Aaron prepared a couple of boxes of Kleenex for the next 2 episodes. I see that you're always addressing what people planted in your head in the comments, concerning pace, this was a nothing burger with all the original reactors of GOT. They had no one warning them of such nonsense, because they were reacting to the episodes as they first aired. They loved each & every episode, as did most of us. So basically, the book readers are telling you, that you're breathing right now & now you're cognizant of every breath you're taking. One doesn't pay attention to one's breathing, unless someone mentions to you something about your breathing. The difference between the original reactors & you. I suggest watching the original reactors after you're done, you'll see exactly what I mean. These warnings are usually from book readers, holding on to a pace that existed in the first 5 seasons of GOT. Which got obliterated in HOTD, where years went by between episodes & had everyone that wasn't familiar with the books, the vast majority of viewers of the show, trying to figure out what exactly was going on. Something that no original reactor, up to this point in GOT, had to remark about. The hypocrisy from the book readers was so rich, because George wrote in the book, therefore they were ok with it. As if George had any book material for seasons 6 to midway of season 8, where a debate can even be had about pace. The end, was mostly his end, where most of the back lash exists, why he's taking another 5 yrs to finish his book, 15 years in the making. At this point of the show, there really isn't any more character development, most of the characters are together, with maybe 2.5 story lines at best. Compared to maybe 10 story lines in the earlier seasons. Regardless of who's writing, the pace was going to pick up, as in every movie/book, it's nearing the end, it's time for the payoff. Wishing the show would never end is completely something else, one needs to come to grip with it, as all good things must come to an end. Some couldn't come to grip with it, it became part of them, along with the sour grapes. One needs to look at the glass at 95% full, as opposed to pointing at it being 5% empty. Always entertaining boyz.

Season 7 ended in 2017 then we all had to wait 2 years till 2019 for Season 8
