Baby Undertale turns 5 years old today! Whatever your opinion may be on this game, it will forever hold a very special place in my heart. Aside from just being an incredible experience, I don't think that this channel would be where it is today without my Undertale Medley. That was easily my top video and led to a huge boost of subscribers and "put my channel on the map". Of course I can't forget to mention that I was trying to beat Undyne the Undying on my laptop at school lunch break when my crush first put her head on my shoulder. Cheesy, I know, but returning to this game and it's music always remind me of how the 4 and a half year relationship of my girlfriend and I got started! Undertale either got revived, or never was dead. First Revtrosity with his "Saying a lot of things as everyone". Then the Frisk vs. Mettaton animation being done. Then this very nice remix. And then later the Undertale 5th Anniversary concert. In addition to more Deltarune news. Edit: Meanwhile I'm still figuring out how to live (and perhaps do something with my life, RU-vid maybe?) despite all the homework that slaps me. Edit 2: Honestly, I don't know why I put that last segment in. It has no relation to Undertale, I know. I guess I really just wanted to compare things to myself again. I really need to stop hating on myself online. Edit 3: Oh krud, didn't expect this to get as much likes as it got. Edit 4, two years later: man, this comment came from a somewhat dark and demotivating place. Sorry if this comment ruined any good mood. On one hand, really regret making it. On the other, it's ok to do these kinds of things from time to time. Maybe not on RU-vid though. Btw, I'm doing fine :D

Eh, we all need to vent our problems sometimes. The comments section of this nice remix are as good a place as any. And in the meantime, Undertale was left for dead, but somehow managed to hang on even after years of abuse, first by it's own community and then by the hate-base that rose around it. It's endured well, and certainly earned it's place among the classic indie games.

@@fihyrulesmonado7659 I know that it is best for us to vent, but as of late, I've been showing my hatred for myself in the most inopportune places, and it's been making others just feel bad. I know venting is not about getting anywhere with our problems, just more so about just letting it out there. But, I don't know, it's just awkward, especially if you're making a first impression to -a few artists- someone. But still, glad that you said that this place is as good as a place as any. It's honestly relieving to know that it's ok to do this here, or anywhere. Thanks ^_^ Also, is it really that common for fandoms to just hate on things, before becoming great? I mean, I know the same can be said about, say, the Sonic fandom, but to me, that one is justified due to how much the Sonic franchise itself has been through. Meanwhile I don't see anything wrong with Undertale. Huh, I really wonder how was it to be an early Undertale fan. I only got into Undertale last year. ('-' )

I've never played Undertale myself, but I've been obsessed with it since I binged an entire playthrough. I'm not as into it now, but I will never forget the joy this game has caused me, even though I didn't even play it. When deltarune came out, I downloaded it, and played it each morning before I had to leave for school, and in about a week, I completed it. It kind of revived my love for this franchise, and I hope to see it thrive for many more years. Let's all stay determined, and hope this terrible year will end with something good!

it really sucks when someone else's playthrough was your opening to UNDERTALE, but I had no other way to experience it even know almost everything there was to offer, aside from a few FUN value things, it was still wonderful, and that's how you know, you've created a god damn master piece maybe I'll play deltarune chapter 3 on my own without spoilers wouldn't that be nice. I only worry that there will be nothing left after deltarune, I don't want to force a man to make games, but not many people can capture, well THIS!

Not too long ago I got the true ending of the game and seeing the characters again made me really miss them because of how unique each of them were. This game also has a special place in my heart and it’s crazy to think that it’s been out for 5 years now

Not gonna lie, I was kinda afraid when this video started because of how feelsy this song makes me. Then, it turned into a party-like remix and I was overjoyed! Very fitting for one of the biggest indie games that's already 5 years old now... Time flies.

I love everything about this remix. I thought from the intro that it would go for the sentimental route, but then the core of the song kicks in and goes for a pop/jazz, which works surprisingly well. Great job NoteBlock!

Not Five seconds in and my eye's are begining to blur, WTH? I'm not an emotinal person, a lot of thing people say made them cry don't invoke such strong reactions within me. That's not to say I don't feel anything, just that it's more 'internal', But Undertale's Music Just *Hits* Different. Tracks like 'Undertale' and 'Reunited' always give me this feeling.
