This is my third time watching this and yet I still cry!! Once upon a time, I rushed back to the Philippines to see my Dad for the last time. I was wondering why a lot of my friends were in the Manila airport and were boarding the same plane as me, going to GenSan. Upon arrival in GenSan, my brother told me that my father expired and joined our Lord, less than 3 hours before I arrived in NAIA. That was the saddest day of my life. Take care of each other, my Syrian friends. ❤️

When dad said 'I used to count years to meet you, then months and days ...', 'All I can see is you'. Maaan I cant hold back my tears. So happy for you to be reunited with your father and family (soon). Cant wait for more content with Baba in Phillipines!

Happy for you Basel reuniting with your father after a long, long while. I was an ex-OFW in KSA and had the chance to visit the Holy Land and your country Syria. We enjoyed mingling with your kababayans there and ate kabsa as well and some good ole Syrians sweets. Syrians are just as welcoming and friendly surprisingly with Filipinos like me. I also had ka officemate na Syrian in Riyadh whose name is Bilal, one soft-spoken who is very proud of your country. We ate lunch together and share many stories. He is one proud Syrian.
