Reuniting with Zelda (Skyward Sword) 

As a zelink shipper, i love it

Honestly Skyward Sword was the first time we saw *_any_* emotion from Link in a Zelda game.

@@jaydendrake9176 nah, in BOTW Link was more of a close friend and advisor. His job was mostly to keep Zelda out of trouble, and they became close because of that. In Skyward Sword, Zelda isn’t a princess (I think).

@@frozenlizard3370 it’s literally canonically confirmed that Zelda loves Link in BotW. Kass’s song confirms that Zelda only had eyes for her knight. The ending of BotW features falling petals, confirmed to represent endless love earlier in the game. Nearly every diary from the other characters hints they can see the attraction between the two. It’s a stretch to say that Zelda wasn’t in love with Link AT LEAST. Link’s feelings are more interpretive, but Zelda was basically the only person he felt comfortable opening up to. Plus, the Japanese version of the game has journal entries explicitly from Link’s POV, and his entry after retrieving every memory states that “he wants to see Zelda smile again with his own eyes.” Fairly certain BotW makes it pretty explicit.

@@x-rax716 Agahnim from Link to the past. Its basically two letters off from Ghirahim. They had a chance to make a callback to that by making Ghirahim an anagram of Agahnim but didnt for whatever reason.
